FOMO, gating, RNG, grind, overtuning, competition - endgame.
Solo MMO: no more humiliating queues and toxic competing.
Aggro and combat: game would only be better without obsoleted mechanics.
DF in a nutshell: GW2 copy-paste with AFK events and nothing to do.
You are an extremem outlier that doesn't need to be counted for any metric. You are Spiders Georg in this and every other situation.

Overall this is typical Blizzard "fun detected" midweek nerf. They probably not want easy party mode in delves, but make solo player runs significantly harder too.
And mobs who hit like 90% hp in one shot and put dot too are just ridiculous. Zekvir, Tala and Velo are like spit in player face. Disgusting crap.
I've not encountered Tala and Velo as of yet, but I'm up to Tier 9 Delves and I'm having a lot of fun so far. The Delves are challenging at my iLvl (~590) while not being statistically impossible, requiring smart pulls and a degree of forethought, as well as management of my CDs, to complete. An overtuned boss or two is probably to be expected at this point in the outing, and if they are legit OP I'd assume they'll get nerfed in the near future. I'm kind of curious to see how bad they are based on the stories I've heard, so I guess I'll update you on when and if I do encounter them before any nerfs that might hit them.

Well, we can do you blood and love without the rhetoric, and we can do you blood and rhetoric without the love, and we can do you all three concurrent or consecutive. But we can't give you love and rhetoric without the blood. Blood is compulsory. They're all blood, you see." ― Tom Stoppard, Rosencrantz and Guildenstern are Dead
Sadly it seems the complaints by people who are trying to do them below the suggested ilvl will be enough that delves will end up nerfed below challenging like Torghast was.

All of them were removed though. They could have just nerfed Tala a bit. And Waxface's damage went from requiring careful planning of defensives to something you can facetank. A lot of the complaints were simply from people in too low ilvl. Imo the issue was that the difficulty jumped too much from t7 to t8. The people struggling with t8 this much should have faced enough of a challenge at t7 to just not consider t8 (and t7 rewards are nearly as good anyway with Hero gear in the vault). Solo t8 should simply not be possible for specs that are bad at soloing unless they at least somewhat outgeared it, which they could have just by spending the first week or two on t7.
As it is, delves will fail to be a long term progression system for solo players for this season. After the second week, your only upgrade will be the vault. Most people will do 4 bountiful delves for the first two slots and stop at that for a chance at vault gear and that will be it. You should have had to spend some time in t7 unless you got gear from other content imo (even t6 for casual players who are low skilled). They also should not have let us front load so many keys for the first week (I think I had 14 keys going into the week?). And the 4 delves a day if you want to keep Brann optimal is also a poor idea imo. The content is great, the gameplay it created is solid. But the systems need fine tuning. Which is fine, this was just released it was bound to be messy. I am just explaining my position on how I feel it is messy. They need to have some more linear difficulty within the part that is used for gear progression and they shouldn't have frontloaded the rewards this badly.
Tala and Velo were not really an issue if you bothered to separate them and I've heard many people who managed that. Personally I am playing this as a Tankadin and I just completely countered Tala so it's not a fair comparison but many people found ways to handle them.

They literally had a mechanic that swapped a 99% damage reduction between the two and they were immune to CC.
Unless there was some weird minor exploit, you couldn't separate them, I have no idea where you got that idea, they count as one mini boss together, like the guy riding the spider. They're still in t9+ if you want to fight them that badly again.

Retail sucks. Classic sucks. No positivity, only negative feedback. Why is everybody so damn miserable? Must be somebody else's fault, it couldn't possibly be my INSANELY TOXIC ATTITUDE.
Not sure if it was an exploit, as I have no idea how to trigger it, but there definitely was some weird behaviour as I did it in an 8 (before removal obviously) and one of them moved close to the back wall, next to a pillar, and just stood there while I pulled the other one. Was the only time I could kill them. Maybe you're supposed to be able to pull only one when they are at opposite ends of their paths and furthest away from each other, but I doubt it.
I did the spider/rider combo on a devastation evoker. Kite to avoid melee, cleanse the poison, and LoS the interrupt. Self-heal when needed but prioritize Brann's healing potions (if he's a healer) since you'll be kiting. Make absolute sure you're not running the Brute Force curio like I did. I had a few times when Brann yeeted me into them and I instantly died.
