No, I mean based on the number of players actively on the WQ, not the number in the area.

Well yea, but I'm assuming they use the same system, and WQ mobs and interactables are just flagged to be using dynamic spawn rates when people are on that WQ. And if 1 out of 50 WQ's doesn't have it, it's a bug. But who knows how it's done. It'd be interesting to see/hear how much they have to do weird and stupid workarounds and hacks just to get stuff working (kinda like what Bethesda has to do when still using Gamebryo from the 90's.

No it hasn't? Can't remember when it was added, but maybe around Cata? Certainly not in Vanilla-TBC-WoTLK. Classic sure, but that's completely different thing.
Yes! I totally forgot about the NON-Existent worms lol I was like okay... Kill worms... umm Right! let me get on that... ONCE they actually appear.

Totally possible, we have no way to tell either way. I haven't seen any sign of spawnrates being tied to players flagged with a certain quest unless it also phases the player though.

Anybody else on this forum can answer this for ya: the answer is no, they do not play the current expansion. Source: every time WowIsDead64 makes a thread.

It's called "competition". You should "compete" with other players for "limited resources", lol. And such designs also exist to force PVP in Warmode. Problem is - 99.99% of playerbase turns it off.
With a name like that and a take like this it's pretty easy to tell you're jaded beyond stone.

What exactly is "playing the game" to you? Because it sounds like you want a version of WoW that doesn't exist and has never even attempted to exist based on your signature lol. Maybe the Dark Souls franchise is a better fit for you? Maybe Candy Crush or Disney Starlight? Hell I hear Yugioh Duel Links just updated their app a bit, and Pokemon Go is better than ever.

Might do you some good to go out and touch some grass, anyway.

Is this the same for you?
    I blame the hyperspawn abusers.

Blizzard have said the WQs which don't pop fast enough are bugged, not that they're meant to be that way to avoid hyperspawns etc. Plus hyperspawns still seem to be in the game in places.
    "A youtuber said so."

    "According to researchers from Wowhead..."
