It does quite well on silken court and ovinax, fire is in a fine spot now after the weekly buffs (well living bomb is still weird but w.e.)
Heroic - 90%percentile - range of 1 day (obviously) bang, smack dab in the middle, it's fine.
Also let's be real, frost and arcane simply have the right to outshine fire for at least a couple tiers, arcane is quite fun too.

Fire is fine atm. it's not topping the charts, but it's servicable for most content, and doing quite well in special scenarios/bosses.
Just because it isn't the FOTM spec for one season, doesn't mean it's bad. They should decide what they want to do with LB though.
Buffing something that does 0 damage by 10% ist still a gain of 0 damage.
Yeah, I look at logs, and sites like Archon and elect raid, dps heroic, and fire is at the bottom. Pyro hits like a wet rag in my opinion. You can still play fire but you will not see your name in the top 10, more than 3 seconds in the beginning of the pull.

Sometimes, the light of the moon is a key to other spaces. I've found a place where, for a night or two, the streets curve in unfamiliar ways. If I walk here, I might find insight, or I might be touched by madness.
It's a bit misleading, because there's two factors fighting with those websites that aggregate rankings:
1. Fire has had repeated buffs every single week, those buffs take time to come through in the rankings because they're aggregated
2. When a spec is as far behind as Fire was, none of the actually good players will be playing it, which pushes it even FURTHER down the rankings because you only have people playing it who enjoy it, and they'll have mixed skill levels.
When buffs come through, they can cause quite large swings in rankings, even for small buffs, because those small buffs bring it to the realm of viability for the truly skilled players, and they'll start pushing logs.

There are some changes coming to fire in the anniversary patch, and maybe that will soften the curve some. Only time will tell.
Fire is good for raid, proabably lower than arcane in full ST patchwerk but it's a lot easier to handle boss mechanics as fire than arcane and managing burst phases is also a lot easier as you don't have to look for 3 cooldowns but just one plus the only hardcast spells are fireball and scorch under 30%, cauterize is god tier in progression, switched to fire today and did some testing in RF, fwiw in rfinder i did 3 purple and 2 orange parses and felt way more comfortable with the spec in just one day than i did with a month of arcane
