Lolwut. Maybe in 2015. The majority of people left here are just the hardcore who love everything blizzard gives them. As evidenced by anytime someone complains, a downpour of people flaming them with the generic “WhY do yOu CaRe” replies.

This place became the epitome of toxic positivity a long time ago. And I say that as someone who once saw it as the reverse where Blizzard were putting out greatness constantly yet people complained over the smallest things. That was back during like Cata though.

The WoW subreddit is the same way. Any time you criticize Daddy Blizzard, for ANYTHING, you immediately get labeled a "whiny hater" and told to leave.

Really wish people could understand that pointing at a problem and asking for it to be fixed is not "hate".

What I disagree with (and what people who get mad about being downvoted are often guilty of doing) is surrounding the description of that problem with language like, "these r-slur devs have their heads so far up their asses, they've re-discovered Narnia." There's a right and wrong way to deliver feedback and as cathartic as it might be to compare the dev team's collective IQ to a ham sandwich, it's astonishingly ineffectual in conveying any actionable ideas.

I've got no issues with getting store mounts for doing stuff in-game, but it's a bit of a dick move to take a free mount and slap it in the shop for a premium.

While you are right there, you also know (Not only here, on reddit or wherever), that some people will crush any argument of that kind since the game is perfection in their eyes.

I mean, after the recent hotfixes on Zekvir, i pointed that it's still hard to understand how one of the biggest issues being Brann chosing to dispel the monkey/rex (Come on... lol) he spawns instead of the player, because this means little testing since it is a serious issue one can easily notice destroying the fight, and got shat on...

Like, i didn't even pretend to hate on Blizzard, pointing a lack of testing is an issue i truly believe they should work on, this expansion having so many bugs is a testament to this. But some people can't/don't want to deal with any kind of criticism, they rather have the fight broken before suggesting fixing the issues. I'd love bugs like those fixed but people rather fight each other than help tracking those.

Is this satire? Post #16 in this thread and I think only one other wasn't straight up complaining about the audacity to sell a mount. Every second thread on this website is "content creator said game bad" or "me and my seventh oldest child out of fifteen who is four years old are bored of the game after only 6 days because we refuse to play most of the content and the content we do decide to do we're bored of and also we only have 1.7 hours to play once every three weeks and blizzard need to design the game for us" or "DAE game better 15 years ago and no I definitely wasn't a completely different person with no responsibilities experiencing the game for the first time back then".

Store mounts aren't greedy lmfao. Taking a mount that was free and then put a price tag on it is greedy. "Having to pay for a mount" is the correct terminology here because the only way to obtain the mount now is to pay for it. If you want the mount you have to pay for it.

I'm pretty sure the mount will be back on the trading post at some point, they cycle through stuff but they don't want to bring them back too often or it makes the entire thing kinda pointless. There needs to be a slight fear of missing out on some of this stuff to keep people playing and completing the log every month. Anyone upset they missed it last year, don't bother spending $ on it, just wait, it will probably be available from the TP sometime this year, I wouldn't be surprised if they didn't even wait until next October.
