Thrall. What surname would he earn?

Orcs earn their last names. Bladefist. Hellscream. Blackhand.

What would Thrall's be, if he ever took one?

Earthward? Stormbringer? Earn back the Doomhammer and call himself that?

    Soyboy. The Emasculated.

Very much in tune with WoW's current vibe post Warlords of Draenor. Varian Wrynn dying in Legion was very emblematic and representative of WoW's current direction: no manly men allowed, only sad and whimpering soyboys.

Care to explain what you mean by that ? As far as I know, the only criteria for being a man is having a penis, and although we generally don't see wow characters naked, I'm fairly certain that all male characters have one (or some sort of male reproductive system depending on the specie).

Manly man: stoic, leader, protector, combative, competent.

So everything that could describe Thrall to people who haven't gone off the deep end? Because using "soyboy" unironically is not what a normal person would do.

Those are (positive) human quality. What does it have to do with "manly" ?

On topic: Go'el Frostwolf, Thrall Metzen

Combative doesn't go with any of those; "manly man" is more often than not misunderstood for having no self restraint. Stoicism isn't hiding emotions, it's dealing with them. Maturity in leadership is knowing how to handle disagreements without escalating.

I guess starting a family or acknowledging others is now considered "unmanly." This would explain the 'anti-IED' crowd not climbing the ladder, wants everything handed to them with zero character progression.

    It's Thrall, first name John.

    He's John Thrall.

Yes it is. All male characters are soyboys now. The likes of Anduin, Kalecgos and Nozdormu. Incompetent, whimpering, sad, needing to be helped and protected by female characters who now have the roles of the men. Not that it's anything wrong with female characters taking charge, but it seems it's ONLY female characters taking charge.

Throughout TWW, whenever there is an interaction between a male and a female character, the male will come up with a plan of action and the female will say "Shut up, idiot!" and the male will either be quiet or simply reply with the equivalent of "Yes, dear".

Can't believe nobody has said "Wrynn" yet xD

Come on, MMOC shitposters usually don't drop the ball like that!

Though if they ever are to give him one I'm sure it'll be something element-related. He'll make up and make good with nature and then be the Earthdaddy we all "want" him to be.

No, because you don't understand nor are you willing to understand, and I don't care to educate you, I'm only replying for the Normies who aren't completely gone, and can still think critically.

There is a reason why Space Marine 2 is so incredibly successful, and it has little to do with the game mechanics. Not that you would understand the reason.

Can't think critically ? Lmao, I just stated that being a main meant having a penis, that is doesn't imply anything else, and you refuse to give any sort of explanation. You should start thinking critically and not being blinded by some weird bigotery.

It is very much a success because it's a good game, which is why it's universally acclaim. Stop projecting and seeing your weird social prejudices everywhere, people just want to have fun.

I'd probably not describe him as stoic, in my mind that would fit his earlier days.
Competent is also arguably contentious i'd say.

One also could argue about the definition of combative, at least in the context of him being an orc.

You just like playing with the big, strong MANLY men dont you? It's ok, this a safe space, you can tell us all about your MANLY fanatasies where women and "soyboys" arent allowed to join the fun, we wont judge, unlike you.
    I'ts not just safe, it's 40% safe.

I fear for your already brittle masculinity when you learn Palworld sold 4 times the volume its first week and Animal Crossing, 6.

No one needs them, but orcs typically take one on when they've accomplished some big notable or infamous thing, or are the head of a clan and Thrall has done those things a dozen times over.
