Its cultural observation. Not some measurement in terms of height, weight and body parts.

If this game represents somewhat medieval times, and you live in Western/northern Europe(Vikings converting thanks to brits). Then a mainly man is a barbarian with a connection to some sort of ideology. He probably smells really bad(think house of Greyjoy stereotype).

If you we go the middle east during same era, then a manly man is most likely a scholar, mathematician or he is doing some art. Bellydancers could also be guys and it was totally accepted. Think house of Martell.

Long story short, what era does Thrall represent?
Region is Azeroth and her surroundings. Century is the first after the opening of the dark portal. Any link to earth past social norms are pointless in wow because it's a fictionnal world which doesn't need them.

CLEARLY a man has a penis. And a manly man has two or more. The manliest of men are the ones that are nothing but an old god of manmeat.

Thrall is already his eponym. His given name is Go'el, and he's accepted that name in a late-life naming ceremony and was oathbound to his kin under that name, but he continues to use the name Thrall in public service and duty. Thrall being the name he believed was a reminder of the bonds of slavery he had shattered but also duty to his people which he honoured. So his full title would be "Go'el Thrall, Son of Durotan and Draka, Shaman, and Chieftain of the Frostwolf Clan".

hmm... Nazgrel, Drek'thar, Durotan, Kash'drakor, Mathogg and other Frostwolf orcs didn't have surnames, except Morg Wolfsong

    also Ner'zhul, Drak'thul, Gul'dan, Jubei'thos, Thok'feroth, Mazrigos, and etc.

In honor of his the Blue armor he uses today, i would name him "Thrall, the Alliance-lover"
Actually Garrosh was slightly older than Thrall.

    Thrall of the Frostwolves.

No one needs them, but orcs typically take one on when they've accomplished some big notable or infamous thing, or are the head of a clan and Thrall has done those things a dozen times over.
To be fair, do we know of specific Frostwolf orcs taking such surnames? Maybe it's just not a Frostwolf thing

Their clans were named after the orcs.

Grom Hellscream is a Warsong orc, for example. The Bladefist clan is named after Kargath.

    Why Blackrock?

I have asked chatGPT to give me some names, that's a pretty good answer:

    1. Stormbinder
Reasoning: Thrall is known for his mastery of the elements, particularly his ability to call upon storms and lightning in battle. This name highlights his shamanic connection to the elements.

    2. Earthshaker
Reasoning: Thrall's affinity with the earth element and his role in shaping the destiny of the Orcish people resonates with the idea of shaking or shaping the world. This surname emphasizes his connection to the land and his power to cause significant change.

    3. Warchiefson
Reasoning: As the son of Durotan, a former Warchief, and as a former Warchief himself, this name would honor his lineage and leadership role among the Orcs.

    4. Wolfrunner
Reasoning: Thrall has a symbolic connection with wolves, as seen in his time with the Frostwolves. This name would represent his bond with the wild and his tribal origins.

    5. Ironhand
Reasoning: Thrall’s leadership style balances strength and compassion, and "Ironhand" reflects his firm, yet fair approach to guiding his people.

    6. Skyseer
Reasoning: Thrall often looks to the skies for guidance from the elements, and his vision extends beyond just immediate concerns, reflecting a deep wisdom and foresight.

    7. Oathkeeper
Reasoning: Thrall is a character driven by his strong sense of honor, duty, and commitment to his people. This name reflects his reliability and dedication to keeping his promises.

    8. Wolfrage
Reasoning: A fiercer version of the "Wolfrunner" idea, this surname would emphasize Thrall's capacity for ferocity and his inner strength as a warrior of the Frostwolves.

    9. Earthwarden
Reasoning: This name highlights Thrall's role as a protector of the world and its elements, particularly with his ties to shamanism and elemental forces.

    10. Stormrage
Reasoning: Similar to "Stormbinder," this name emphasizes Thrall's command over the elements, but with a more intense focus on his raw power in battle.
