Because 1) like I said in my post tanks wouldn't be immune anymore, 2) you can just make tanks do 80% of a DPS' damage, 3) you can make part of their damage require being hit occasionally.

I'll just post the really obvious for anyone reading this that is confused or maybe hasn't realized what the issue is. Do you know when the most fun time to play the game in dungeons and raids is other than your own personal gameplay being what you find interesting? Its when your tanks and healers are absolutely overpowered and they hardly if ever fail and ruin the fun for everyone else around them. Almost nobody actually wants tanks to be hard or take a lot of skill. That's just a couple of elitist tanks or whatever jerking themselves off or some big pie in the sky shit from the game developers. The dps and the healers do not care how much fun the tank is having or how interesting the game is for them. They want the tank to not die so they can play the game and have fun themselves. They do not want the tank to die to skill issues or to struggle or have to get good lol they want them to just simply not die. Healers are the same way. They're the two roles that are heavily pass/fail that aren't super accepting of just not being good enough and don't have their own personal gameplay diluted by several other players depending on the content. Nobody wants to see that shit.

You see less tanks because there's less respect for tanks. (And healers...)

Honestly, going into another xpac as a tank for my main character. I am less willing to do everything. For the most part, you have more DPS rollers being disrespectful to their tanks and healers. Which is why I dont even bother healing outside of certain invites. But it's a frustrating experience seeing a DPS thinking they can tank ahead of you, die and be blamed for it. Being numb to it, because "It's the internet". You just brush it off. "I don't have time for this...". I literally started this xpac, like the last xpac, with a second tank for mythic+ scouting.

Early on, I just note bad DPS and bad Healers. So, for my actual key runner. I just keep that blacklist open of players, classes, guild tags and avoid them when pushing my keys or pugging raids. I don't bother with that IO crap. I will even blacklist and kick you from "MY" group if it's mentioned.

There is not less tanks. There has ALWAYS been a tank shortage in this game. Since 2004.

This thread is like the picture-perfect example of confirmation bias

In M+ DPS usually knows how to behave, but I was doing my weekly Timewalking for the marks to buy all the shit next patch and some Havoc DH insisted running ahead and pulling everything. I somehow forgot where my taunt was binded every time that happened.
