Why the mandatory steel and fire/explosives

Survival not being able to take a path that doesn't take wildfire bomb, seemingly explosive shot being a thing they encourage you very strongly to use, it feels weird especially with the sentinel hero talent path, not as natural. Them not being able to dual wield as well, having to use a spear, and marksmanship and beast mastery not being able to use any melee abilities, just still shooting when the enemy comes into melee range.

I think that the issue lies more on the fact that most (if not all) Hero talents just doesn't go with the "resourceful /gadget filled hunter" theme that Survival have been trying to go lately.

IMHO this could be solved if Blizzard ever decided to retake using Glyphs to modify the looks of certain abilities to fit the fantasy that the player wish to play.

I think the more dual wielding jungle surviving hunter that feels almost more like a warrior in ways makes more sense sometimes (Night Elf hunters being an example of that) and it's one that it doesn't seem that you can play atm with thing like the explosives being something you can't avoid taking, I guess maybe glyphs or options to recolour them could help, still I'm not so sure about hunter not being able to dual wield like it used to.

I do agree that Hunter should be able to Dual Wield, its more "hunter-like", just apply it like Frost DKs, so we can still use 2-handed weapons but we have the option between one or the other
