No, I understood the thread as it's typed. Your OP indicates literally, consistent with the concept of the Anchor Being you took from the MCU. You said so right here:

That reads just exactly like the description of the Anchor Being concept from the MCU. All literal.

If you need to emphasize what you actually meant, you may want to put that in the OP. Not 6 posts after.

Wasn't any worse than before that. Besides, the universe didn't die, so he doesn't count.

And you defined Anchor Being in your first post in no uncertain terms. Poster boy it was not.

And i listed Garrosh or Varian, who are both dead.
Anyway, the gradual degradation of the world (game-wise).
Also, i've said so multiple times throughout the thread. Read the comments. The OP explains what an Anchor being is by definition.

    I, literally, listed Garrosh.
Otherwise, the answer is clear - Azeroth. But, this is not about the Worldsoul. It's about important characters to the franchise.

If anything, that would indicate you don't even know what an Anchor Being is, based on the OP you typed out.

And yes. That is what I said: the definition you provided and which I gave my replies to. You're only one who seems confused by it. Thanks for specifying!

Good example of how vague thread topics get muddled. Edits exist.

It's not that hard to grasp. Wolverine himself isn't that imperative to the Marvel universe as well. It's just characters we love going away. It's not so hard to figure out.

I'm sorry, but we're speaking about you setting up the parameters of your thread's topic based on what you literally typed out.
What you meant to say, and your personal interpretations on what you said, are irrelevant. Please move on.

Just to circle back, I find it interesting and funny that people reference Arthas as the Anchor Being-type character, based on the definitions of an Anchor Being from its source (Marvel Cinematic Universe), as such he has been dead for years within the Warcraft universe. If such a character existed as a concept I agree with others that it would be the player character.

In regards to him being the chosen for the popularity/"poster boy" reasoning, that makes sense. Arthas is in the top 3, if not number 1, of most popular Warcraft characters ever.
