Does anyone else feel like mounts have gotten worthless?

If you think I don't criticize Blizz ever you are just badly informed, or more accurately don't care enough to even try to inform yourself, as is self-evident by oh so many of your posts, even though my post history is clear for all to see lol . Facts don't care about your feelings nor do I.

Being mad because somebody else got some pixels in a video game is a pathetic sentiment. Period. Why do you care what others do or obtain in their game? How does that change your experience in any way? Why do you need a mount to make you feel special? What does that say about you?

Back in the day, seeing someone with a really cool mount, checking out how to get it, then suddenly having mad respect for that person because they put so much effort into it.
That doesn't really happen anymore. Not that there aren't hard to get mounts anymore, just that there are so many mounts, many from the store, you just become used to it no more awe. Still feels good to get a really nice flying mount. I could get the coolest ground mount ever and I feel like, it's nice but not like I'm going to use it(unless it has a store etc... attached). Once you have a bunch of mounts that you like and rotate between, getting another doesn't have the same feeling. Not worthless bet definitely worth less, a lot less.

There isn't any real effort needed to put towards any mount. Playing the game does not = effort.

Hm. Aren't most of the mounts based on a lucky roll of the dice? Sure some mounts are dropped from Mythic Raid Boss but the one person that won it did not put any more effort than the rest of the group.

I admit some recognition is in order for the people who constantly grind the same content for the mount to drop. The Headless Horseman mount comes. Not exactly hard. Just need perseverance.
