Xbox x Mountain Dew, Doritos, and Rockstar Energy Drink Promotion Rewards
Xbox is teaming up with Mountain Dew, Doritos, and Rockstar Energy Drink for a special promotion running from November 4, 2024, through January 31, 2025. By purchasing specially marked products and redeeming codes at DoritosDewRockstar.com, players can collect points to obtain special in-game content for titles like Diablo IV and World of Warcraft.

As previously showcased, Mountain Dew is reintroducing Game Fuel with two flavors: the returning Citrus Cherry and a new Citrus Blackberry flavor, honoring the 20th anniversary of World of Warcraft. Look out for themed bottles featuring Thrall and Xal'atath, available in stores along with Doritos and Rockstar products, each featuring popular Xbox game titles.

I knew it would happen, but I am still annoyed that it did happen. Of course a US only thing, where off you need multiple codes to redeem all the items, now having to find US players to buy multiple items of shit that they might not want, to give the codes to you - and some might just try and sell the codes for gold.

You think they're going to make the US pay money to get all these products for the items, then give it to EU for free? Lol.

Mountain Dew, Doritos, and Rockstar Energy Drink...obviously Blizz isn't promoting healthy diets.

They could make them trading post rewards, which US players can then get for free as well.

Mountain Dew, Doritos, and Rockstar Energy Drink ... look like a bad parody of the South Park warcraft episode

Also, today I learned Rockstar is owned by Pepsico, which owns Mountain Dew and Doritos Chips.

Also I learned that PepsiCo bartered with the USSR, trading Pepsi Syrup for Vodka, and eventually old Soviet Warships. Including 17 Submarines.

Pepsi also infamously had a similar promotion in the 1990s where they joked 7 million points would get you a AV-8B Harrier II military jet - and of course someone collected that much and insisted they wanted their jet. There's a whole documentary about it.

Isn't the issue that the EU has more laws\rules around these things like giveaways and other promotional events?

I think the EU you can't require a purchase for a giveaway, not 100% sure though.

I've tried to like Rockstar many times, but it just doesn't taste right to me. Monster is the only energy drink I could take, since OG JOLT was discontinued.
Guess I'll grab a Dew and call it good.
