I did get the world bosses one, but a different set of bosses than last week. Have the vista portals changed for you with the weekly reset? They didn't for me.

I leveled a toon from 35 to 80 exclusively through TW (resto druid). I didn't keep an exact tally, but I ran somewhere between 30 and 40 dungeons over the course of about 8 hours of playtime. I never want to do another TW run again after that. I'd say somewhere in the ballpark of 75-80% of runs, tanks overpulled, continuously outran my range, couldn't hold threat from overpulls, caused unnecessary wipes, and tried to take shortcuts that wound up taking more time than just running the dungeon straight. I was really at the end of my rope by the time I got to the 70s.

One run, Strat, non-Rivendare side, tank kept overpulling and caused a wipe. I notified the group that I was zoning out to reup on my bonfire buff. I was right next to the bonfire and the whole zoning process took about 30 seconds. I zoned back in and started running back to the group as fast as possible. As I was running back, they pulled again, without me there, and wiped a second time. I got kicked from the group after they wiped the second time. I was really irritated about losing my buff due to an unnecessary wipe, communicated that I was taking a moment to get it back, and I did everything I could to keep the party up through the madness.

Another time the tank pulled everything all the way up to the first ogre boss in Deadmines without stopping. I scrambled to heal but of course the group wiped. I was immediately kicked without a word said. That was actually supposed to be my last dungeon before hitting 80. At that point I had the exp to run a normal TWW dungeon and still level. I switched to TWW normal and had a pleasant experience in that group.

I guess I did this to myself, but I am already hardcore burnt on the TW dungeon rotation for the 20th anny event. I have more toons to level though, and I want to farm badges for rewards from the anny event. I'm glad we at least get a couple different TW weeks over the course of the next couple months. I love revisiting the old instances, but the vibe of TW pugs is just terrible for the most part.

What's astonishing about this is that you seemingly knew early on that this was a miserable experience yet you kept on doing it anyway.

I have noticed this a couple of times, I think some tanks missed the memo saying that the difficulty had been adjusted. not the end of the world though

It's still far and away the fastest way to level. Pre-70 I was getting 3 levels per run. One from the exp throughout the instance and two for the completion bonus. I think 35-70 took about 4 hours. I'd rather endure that gauntlet than quest. Plus, I lot a want of rewards from the anny, not to mention the Amani bear coming with the next BC week. That's a lot of badges.

There's some seriously frustrating issues which could be fixed within an hour but still remain.

From most frustrating to the least -
Deadmines scaling is all over the place. That Ogre boss whirlwind damage is insane, goblin mobs melt ore ability ticks for millions even though you're not 80 yet.
Halloween EXP buff disappearing on death
Newly dinged 70 tanks who are still in level 30 gear although it's close to Heroic level they should be in atleast level 70 boe greens
People still think you need to kill Sergeant Bly to open the gate to the last boss in ZF. It never was a thing even in Vanilla and still isn't.
The same overpull at the first junction in Stratholme Undead side
Literally no one knows about the skip in DM East - All you need to do to let the big treant open the door is kill the 2 bosses in the previous room - Hydrospawn and the Satyr so all you need to is jump down from the start and path back in the previous room rather than follow the stupid Imp everywhere - The Imp and the Highborne lass are only relevant in normal leveling because there are dungeon quests associated with them.

I tend to leave if I get either Deadmines as I can't be bothered with the scaling issues and DM East as I can't be bothered chasing an Imp everywhere when I could jump down kill about 7 packs maximum and get 3 bosses out of it.

Killing extra bosses isn't bad, cuz each boss grants 10 badges. But some bosses just don't exist, such as boss in Stratholme, and it's just waste of time to go and try to kill them. Some newbies just don't understand, that going to last boss - is the quickest way to complete dungeon and that trying to kill extra bosses or complete quests - is just waste of time. But I don't blame them. For now I still need exp, so killing extra stuff isn't big deal. I have my chat disabled to avoid that "Need? Gimme!" whispers, so I can't even complain. But wipes - are completely different thing. Gold income from these dungeons is too low to compensate repair costs. So, if tank goes to last boss, while healer stays with his DPS "friend", who goes to non-existent extra boss, cuz "it's marked on map" and wipe happens - then, nope, unfortunately I have to leave such party.
FOMO, gating, RNG, grind, overtuning, competition - endgame.
Solo MMO: no more humiliating queues and toxic competing.
Aggro and combat: game would only be better without obsoleted mechanics.
DF in a nutshell: GW2 copy-paste with AFK events and nothing to do.

It's one week of 2 months game time and I already have nothing to do.
    Time to unsub.
This game is not for you or your extremely niched gaming constraints. One could say, your gaming experience is exactly what you deserve.
Go play a game that fits your use-case.

While I don't come to the same strange conclusions as the OP, I can confirm that on the char I did TW last week did neither the "complete 5 TW dungeons" quest reset, nor did I get that quest item at the end of the dungeons (neither 500 badges and not even the 200 "warbound complete" one).

That cannot be intended and is clearly a bug.

When you got Token Collector achi done ( 100/100 ) timewalking is best source of event tokens, you can spam they infinite for 2 tokens each run.
Good party means 2 tokens each 10 min, so it's possible to easy make 100 or more tokens in one day!

plus it opens on alts, and it's a great way to level.

Lol. System can be exploited via creating new characters and completing weekly on them, as Timewalking is accessible at 10lvl. But I won't do it. Just don't bother.

P.S. Thx Blizzard for 30min deserter for leaving bugged Zul'Farrak with stuck NPCs.

It's not worth it which way you try and interpret it, you have to go through all the treant packs and satyr packs for the sake of 20 badges which takes so long you could do the skip twice and get an extra 10 in that time, a bit different from Stratholme either side when Magistrate or Timmy is literally right there as you go progress.

Depends on what the group wants too. I remember a Stratholme run where we pulled Unforgiven, Hearthsinger and Postmaster at the same time. That was fun, killed them all

All 2 packs each, epic stuff. Don't want to like a cunt about it but you underestimate how much time it saves by just skipping DM East, it's not like Chromie Time where you can just aoe all the packs down in 1 global. You're saving atleast 15-20 minutes for a 10 minute run which you could do twice in that amount of time.

Twice the same amount of exp and 10 badges more in the same timeframe, there's literally zero argument against it. It's like doing a full Gnomeregan clear instead of using the parachute's you're provided in Chrome Time version, it's completely nuts.

It's not made up problem. It's made up rules. Blizzard change their game's rules on fly to suit their immediate needs.
