Why would they not use the Undermine patch to extend that to Hearthstone?? Gadgetzan was such a huge success I can only imagine a perfectly timed hearthstone theme too.

Not feeling this, guess I'm back for S3 instead of S2 then maybe, if it looks decent at that time.

Hope we get a WoW Remix again at some point, that was the most fun I had in 5 years, I don't care much about the Classic or the retail updates.

But think I'm just more interested in things that have a certain (obtainable) "end"/completion point, it was super clear in remix (reach max ilvl, get the best stats on the limited selection of gear, collect all rewards, do all achievements, it was super doable, it wasn't locked behind M+ or other shit like retail, and most parts could be done solo except the raids (Mythic/HC before outgearing it) which were neither difficult/hard, or had complex mechanics, which also meant it wasn't a super toxic environment like retail in M+/raids).

What we're getting next year is the Midnight REVEAL. Not the actual expansion RELEASE. That's likely to be in 2026, making it the usual 2-year cadence we've always had. They're simply showing us in the summer rather than the fall as they used to do with BlizzCon etc. But there'll still be Beta, PTR, and so on. So at best they're shaving a few months if they release it in the summer of 2026 instead of the fall of 2026.
