Blizzard has released a new Hero Trailer "Hazardous Tactics", giving us a glimpse of the chaos this new tank hero brings! Play Hazard for a limited time from November 22-25, ahead of his official debut in Season 14 on December 10, 2024.

The problem is that mobility second to traversal, those two are always the best skills to have.
Hazard got them both. Spike guard is the skill that I have my eyes on at the moment cos given Dreamhack showcase it is utterly stupid.
80% damage reduction, while doing damage and while being able to move at -50% movement speed and 2s cd?

Will see how it pans out, if its another Overpowered Launch hero with a swift tuning. Or weeks/months of being a shitshow.

Mobility is fun but it is also by far the strongest aspect of any hero can have and I'm no fan of the injection of yet another one since it is the hardest to balance.
Lucio, Tracer, Genji, Winston, Diva, Juno (to some extent) are all testament to how potent and lasting mobility is and that is before taking the rest of their toolkit into account.

Hog and Rein, they are shit for the same reasons. Shields and selfheals are useless, mobility and immunities are everything.
Those two are dead hereos and has been and will always be.

Yea thats another thing, the estetics and his 'background' but thats subjective.
But I agree it looks like a wtf moment, it is in no shape or form similar to any other hero and their estetics

We'll see if Hazard has more personality in the long run, but that aspect honestly doesn't seem that important to Blizzard besides a few core characters. It doesn't really matter if they're mostly done with storytelling in Overwatch. Illari is one of my favorites to play and personality-wise she's absolutely the dullest of the human characters.

Funny thing, though. I keep reading everything in Hazard's voice after a moment of hearing him speak. Be it these videos or meeting him in-game during the weekend's trial. Dat accent.

0,1% of the players care about origin, background, voice actor I would argue.
It's about how well (or unwell) the hero fits in the hero pool.

I mean, I agree about Origin and Background, but I think a higher % of players would care about VA. Your points are still valid though.

Rein and Sigma are both good picks, I dunno where you're getting this idea from. Roadhog is situational but Rein is definitely a perfectly valid pick.
