The trading post certainly has a cost for blizzard both in potential losses from putting things on the store and direct cost of paying salaries of the employees that add/design/theme the items and achievements.

no, because the issue here is how lazy and uninspired the designs are. that is what makes them not worth the price (or time).

improve the quality, and then the price isnt an issue. or, maintain said drop in quality, but then lower the price accordingly. again, problem solved as well.

OR: do both. improve quality, lower price, win-win.
