It's equivalent to the high-scrore screen from old arcade games. Remember the old days when you'd walk to a pinball machine in a bar and some fucker already had their initials on the 99999999 max score? Same thing here.

If you click on damage breakdown for specific characters - namely those with ~70% active time - you will see that during add phase, those characters do zero damage. So ye, it's 100% pad damage - the 4 characters with 100 parses are doing ~100% damage to the adds. You don't want them to die too fast (low pad), that's why other players pretty much AFK.

(Also, just a side note, you don't want the whole raid to AFK all the time; the idea is to pad in add phase, and then everyone tries to kill the boss ASAP so your DPS doesn't drop due to too long ST phase.)
