    Outages...

I've been noticing that Microsoft has been experiencing outages in the past few weeks.
I thought it was just me, but it seems to be going around.
For me, it's been somewhere between 10am and 12 noon. Then some sort of reset kicks in.

    Anyone else?

There was some kind of outage with outlook and team a earlier this week. It seemed to effect my work apps.

What exactly do you mean by a "Microsoft outage" and "some sort of reset"? I have Windows 11 on a PC and Windows 10 on a laptop, I also use Outlook as my email service, and I haven't noticed anything.

Yes, outages happen all the time.
    Downdetector
is a great tool for seeing if it's just you or if many people are experiencing the same.

It's rare that these outages impact literally everyone using the service, but there have been quite a few outages with Microsoft Outlook and Teams over the past few years. They don't always impact the same location, or everyone, and there's a lot of moving parts.

Teams died on me a few days ago (was on the tail end of an interview). And my hotmail crashed a few times this month alone. I thought it was Samsung's fault at first.

It's more email and app related.

This could be tinfoil-hatty on my part, but it definitely feels like the level of outages lately has increased with the combined deployment of A) Copilot, B) The Teams harglebargle (Do you want teams classic? new? work? Whatever it is now that isnt those?) and C) The Outlook harglebargle going on with Outlook Classic and Outlook New. I find Teams and Outlook breaking a LOT more in the past couple months, even without system wide outages.

Sharepoint and OneDrive functionality has also been pretty spotty. I don't get deep into 365/Azure, but I manage enough stuff to see things breaking more often than they did a year ago.
