Mine is looking for square ones. Is that what you meant?

You might elaborate more on what you are actually asking.

I'm sorry but this seems like a non question. It's like asking if firefighters do other things than put out fires. A little cursory searching would easily provide you the answer to your question without having to make a whole thread for it.

This is an article on Magic in World of Warcraft.

I mean what is a Warlock but a mage that specced Affliction
3 Major Rules of World of Warcraft Players:
    1. No one on earth wants to play World of Warcraft less than other World of Warcraft players.
    2. The desire to win>The desire for anything else in World of Warcraft. NO EXCEPTIONS
    3. Efficiency will be king no matter how you think it will improve the game.

I know right? A mage that seeks out power is a warlock.

Not necessarily. If one who is not familiar with Warcraft's lore just reads up on the existing types of magic in the Warcraft universe, that one could easily distinguish what a traditional practitioner of Arcane magic would become if they started dabbling into darker magics, like Fel and Void.

Like, if random Dalaran NPC magic user "John Magic" decided to study and practice the Void fulltime, would he automatically become a Shadow Priest?

Yes, they do. A lot of them considered taboo. Like, Kel'thuzad seeking necromancy.
FOMO: "Fear Of Missing Out", also commonly known as people with a mental issue of managing time and activities, many expecting others to fit into their schedule so they don't miss out on things to come. If FOMO becomes a problem for you, do seek help, it can be a very unhealthy lifestyle..

In WoW, the three mages specializations fall under order (arcane) or void (fire, frost). Canonically mages that dabble in "dark arts" are like Kel'Thuzad with necromancy (undeath/death) or Kael'Thas with fel.

mages draw their powers primarly from the arcane (which represents order) while warlocks from fel (which represents chaos) so they are very different on that part, priests are also different with their light and void sources of power, the only similarity between these is that they are spellcasters but still it not the same as the magic that mages use, the fire and frost specializations that mages have are also a form of manipulating the arcane energies to change them into these elements, including the food they create, the portals they summon and everything else they do
