I mean sure, after Cata some jokes have been a bit too much on the nose (and I can agree that Cata had WAY too much on the nose jokes and pop culture references), but the jokes are pretty much still the same. And The Incontinental Hotel is pretty much inline with older Warcraft jokes. But I might just be lame.

I think new generation should grow a thicker skin. Like come on, novadays there is so much complains about literally anything. Piss jokes are offending, poop quests are offending. Adding minorities is offending, not adding minorities is offending, fixing things is offending, not fixing things is offending, fat jokes are offending, black humor is offending etc etc.

Back in a day you just, you know, deal with it. What a deal with this insecurity? Dragon punches was funny for some people, other didn't like it. That is completely normal, so why there are so many outrage about anything?
I think its time to stop encouraging being stupid and force educating.

The outcry is already happening. I wouldn't say it has reached massive levels but some threads have popped up on the official WoW forums and the WoW Reddit.

Hard to tell if people are legit serious about this, or a vocal minority just wants to be the first ones who "took the stand" or whatever.

Oh man...it is not only that, but literally any youtube content creator dowing sth about the trading post gets comments like how shit this free stuff is, or how they don't get enough tender because the items are "too expensive"

Also...to the people fuming at this reply: Yeah, I get it...no need for any smartass out there trying to tell me how Trading post is not free, because you need to buy the x-pac and have a sub and also how they soon will be selling tender in the shop.

eh I don't think that many people are offended, it's a small minority that just get a cosmic fuckton of airtime so everyone thinks it is a majority
