Notorious goblins like Monte Gazlowe, Baron Revilgaz, Marin Noggenfogger, and more run each cartel. A secret fifth cartel waits in the wings for players to learn about a bit later. Which of these cartels you align with is up to you; your experience will change within the Undermine depending on which one you choose every week.

Bilgewater: Led by Monte Gazlowe, this cartel is home to some of the brightest goblins, including inventors and explosive geniuses. Their base is located in Bilgewater Flats near Demolition Dome.

Steamwheedle: Under the leadership of Marin Noggenfogger, this cartel is the oldest and largest in Undermine, focusing on premium-grade alchemy. They can be found in The Vatworks area.

Blackwater: Headed by Baron Trade Prince Revilgaz, this newer cartel excels in shipping and luxury vacations. Their operations are based out of Blackwater Marina.

Venture Co.: Known for its resource acquisition methods, Venture Co. operates in The Heaps. Grimla Fizzlecrank manages their operations in the absence of a top goblin.

Around Undermine, knowing the right people is crucial to a rewarding career with plenty of unique opportunities. Complete Side Gigs for the different Cartels to put you on the track to earning Valorstones, Profession recipes, Crests, and other rewards like a new mount—The Topskimmer Special—at Renown 19 from Renown Quartermaster Smaks Topskimmer and a new title— "The Explosive"—at Renown 20.

As you progress through each Cartel's Renown track, gain access to unique customizations for your D.R.I.V.E. car as you drift at high speeds through Undermine, new transmog appearances, toys, and more.

Where are my boys the Blackfuse Company?

There exists fickle yet reasonable evidence that Blackfuse and his company were an offshoot of the Venture Co., or at least that it was planned to be.

All this comes from the WoD Darktide Roost Garrison Mission mentioning Venture Co. Goblins, while in-game it is occupied by Blackfuse Co. Garrosh loyalists. May be a dev oversight, where they changed the mobs to Blackfuse because it would make more sense for them to be there, or there was a story there, that Blackfuse was a Bilgewater/Venture Co. affiliate who joined Garrosh out of ambition? After all, he seemed not to be motivated by profit, but to be remembered à la ''genius inventors who aspire to be reputed across the galaxies''-trope. They don't want riches, or to have societal prosperity, just fame or notoriety and unbridled technological advancement. This is ofc not what the Venture Co. stands for, it could be the place for him. Every other Blackfuse Goblin seemed to embody Venture Co. ''ideals''.

Combined with the fact their profiles check out, it would be amazing if Blizzard comes back to this, acknowledging and employing lore established over 10 years ago. However, with Grimla at the head of the Venture Co., we may see some redemption arc for these ruthless [bannable profanity would be fair here, they are honest about just one thing: how dishonest and self-serving they are]. To some this creative choice is whitewashing the lore and homogenizing each party/race, to others it may be a cool story about bettering oneself. I would love it if Undermined offered a way to explore the wackiest and malevolently explosive aspects of the Goblins, but surely many will claim they're just Gnomes/Humans (not even what Gnomes used to be pre-World of Warcraft: full of volatile hubris as arrogant technophiles). Alligning with the Venture Co. may not be about roleplaying a villain, which should occasionally be possible in a role-playing game, but about reconnecting with what actually matters in the pursuit of prosperity. There is a great story in a Venture Co. redemption arc, yet... Quite a few people seem to be upset with how many of Warcraft's stories seem about redeeming oneself and finding friendship or inner peace. Having unresolved conflict linger, failure, tragedy, all yield beautiful stories too. And being a villainous asshole in-game can be a lot of fun. Congenial with the fact that Blizzard is great at writing side-characters with actual depth, an evil or conflicted Venture Co. storyline confirming Blackfuse was affiliated with them and Bilgewater could be amazing. Blackfuse was an amazing character, and the company was even more threatening than the Venture Co..
