Because people think Freedom of Speech means they get to say what they want without consequence. When most people who actual like free speech knows that isn't how it works.

Do you really expect a random game forum to be impartial? I don't understand why someone would come to MMOchamp, of all places, for political discussion. This is a place for people to whine about the mistreatment of fictional characters and show off their shiny new xmogs.

Here's an idea... avoid the Politics section, I typically avoid it for the cesspit it is.

Or avoid any discussions here rly, there are other areas with the same amount of biases and double standards regarding reports, people can insult you with any names and they get a a free pass, but if you answer back, oh boy. But yeah things arent going to change, just try your best to not give then any ammunition(something OP didnt)
