    Ads for the AfD on MMO-Champion

    I haven't been posting for a couple of years, only reading. But recent developments necessitate this post.

    I'm from Germany. We have a general election in two weeks. When reading MMO-Champion on mobile I'm usually not logged in. The last couple of weeks I'm getting absolutely inundated with political ads. About half of my ads are political ads. A single one of these ads was for the BSW. All the other ads were for the AfD. Zero ads for the CDU, zero ads for the SPD, zero ads for the Greens, zero ads for the FDP, zero ads for the Linke, one ad for the BSW, but hundreds of ads for the AfD.

    In contrast, I have yet to see a single ad for the AfD on any other site I browse.

    Is the AfD the only german political party interested in launching ads on MMO-Champion? And has MMO-Champion no reservations regarding hosting ads for a extremist right-wing party?

    Political ads should already be banned by default, if one was miscategorized you can report it by following the instructions in that thread.

    probably binge watching videos about them and then surprised to get adds related to it on other sites

    Use BRAVE, does a good enough job blocking ads.

    Depends on the phone I think. Using a phone now with Ublock-origin and NoScript.

    There's many ways to block ads on phones.

    Heck, just use Firefox on your phone, it supports extensions even on mobile so you can just use uBlock Origins there like on a desktop.

    We don't select the ads displayed, there are tens or hundreds of thousands of different ads running at any given time. If you can get me the URLs that the ads lead to, we'll get them blocked.
