I liked MM in Legion the most, like best iteration of any spec in the game of all time, but since Dragonflight the spec went closer to how it was in Legion and it has been super fun since. Worst was BfA when it was clunky af, while Shadowlands managed to get it more on track and Dragonflight, while boring expansion gave us a great Marksmanship spec.

Of course, if you dont play MM how it is supposed to in 11.1 your Aimed Shots are slow as hell, but use your precise shot and proc streamline and its 0.2 sec cast during BL and maybe 0.3 without it during trueshot. Its different as you dont want to spam only AiS and RF anymoe, but weave those precise shot between and you get a more dynamic and fast paced gamestyle.
Give me Aimed Shot casting simulator from Sepulcher lol

Hopefully the DR changes make it actually worth playing in dungeons sometimes because it is also more fun to play.

Biggest issue to me right now is the set bonus. I know they are all gambling themed, but it is particularly ridiculous. You can go one dungeon with a dozen LnL procs and another with 30, and the swung in damage is comical

I too hope for the DR changes to turn out decent.
Sentinel is really boring to play, and the delay on it's main feature when you don't get RF procs feels awful.

And I like BA.. so, there is that.

Agree with you, the RNG on the set-bonus is way to much. I mean, its super-fun when you just get those procs over and over, but its just as sad when you see 2 in 10 minutes lol. It's super-strong but also super-weak. It doesn't feel bad necessarily, but there are better ways to implement rng bonuses. (BUFF LNL PROC RATE BLIZZARD. PS: DON'T TELL ANYONE!)

Hopefully the DR changes are making it better tuning wise. I have been Sentinel whole expansion so far, but I gotta try this now.

I tried playing MM in PVP.

Omg, what a horrible experience! Basically if at any point in a bg, your train of Streamline is over and Rapid Fire is on cd, you're stuck with super slow aimed shots until RF comes back so you can reinitiate the fast shots train. And I got the build from a top 2s player.

What a horrible rework. I'm done with MM for any PVP purposes, it's just too clunky.

I'm confused. I don't play PvP at all, but I'd think they go down the left line too?
Isn't AiS much below GCD there, just like in PvE

How does one even lose their "train of Streamline"?
Doesn't it last like 15 seconds or something.

It took a while, but someone gets it.

Though, the devs intend you to use arcane or multi-shots more often to hasten those Aimed Shots casts.
