    Profession: Playing instruments

The idea: You can collect music you can play. To collect music you can play, you have to find compositions, which are basically just recipes but for playing instruments. To play you have to have the right instrument used specific to the music. But to unlock songs to be played, you have to complete a mini game. The mini game is just like Guitar Hero where you anticipate notes and hit them at the right time.

Also there will be a free style mode where your action bar keys become notes that you can play in what ever order you want. You can also compose/record your free style and be able to play it like the other music you collected.

Playing music would give a variety of buffs to other players depending on the music being played.

    Self Adventuring
    PVP Public Events

If Bard would not be an option, though I'd easily be able to see playing instruments as a secondary option.

Though, I would indeed rather see Bard (Musician/Singer/Storyteller), Tinker (Steam/Goblin/Gnomish/Alchemy), and Necromancer (Bone/Blood & Flesh/Spirit)
FOMO: "Fear Of Missing Out", also commonly known as people with a mental issue of managing time and activities, many expecting others to fit into their schedule so they don't miss out on things to come. If FOMO becomes a problem for you, do seek help, it can be a very unhealthy lifestyle..

I would add Bard as a profession. And not only for playing instruments, but to be an entertainer of all sorts alike.

    My idea would be:
    1. As a Bard you need to find a story first. Living or reliving a story (quest or questline) rewards you with [Scribbled Note]'s.
    2. Second step you do as a Bard is to develop the story into a tale, poem, composition, song, play or concert. Some should be performed alone, some needs additional Bards to perform as a group. Use the [Scribbled Note]'s + additional mats to 'craft' this. The outcome is kinda random (better mats = better results).
    3. Then it's time to perform. Find a crowd and perform/express your story. If NPC's or players respond positive (using emotes, like /dance /applause, etc..) you get rewarded properly (gold, item, buff, etc..). If not you get crap. But whatever you perform you spread out a buff (or a debuff).
