I know right? that's the only way Liquid can win. Let's also ignore the last world first they had in the previous tier with a bigger than 16 hour difference with the competition, just the fact they had a lead of 16 hour means we invalidate everything, even if the 2nd guild is 2 weeks late.

Whoever wins the race should be those who kill the last boss the fastest from the second mythic opens up, simple as.

Liquid spent around half their time over the last 2 weeks fighting bugged bosses and ddos attacks on US servers, likewise ECHO got to spend most their time fighting nerfed and patched bosses. It will never be a fair race, even max said he wishes EU got the patch first so they didnt have to waste all that time fighting bugs.

uhuh, "16 hours" cause you somehow just ignore all the power outages and delays from the DDoSing, maintenance and bugs that Liquid faced. Always with the "head start" cope when Echo loses -_-

Easy, basically everyone, cos both the NA and EU teams agree that the "16hr headstart" means nothing in the first week, and even less by the second week, because so many things come together to change how the race works, from the earlier patch time for NA, to the longer maintenance for NA(Because NA is patched first, they're always the testing ground for the new patch, and their maintenance is longer, usually 8 hrs compared to 1-2 for EU), not to mention the ability for EU teams to watch NA streams and get strategies to accelerate their progress through any bosses that NA has killed. Not to mention extra things like Liquid losing 6? hours to a power outage, the servers being DDoS'd and not being able to log in etc etc.


TL'DR don't be whiny, not even the EU teams care about the "16hr headstart", you've got even less reason to complain.

Bro it will never end and both you and I know it. It's why cities get burned down whether that city's team wins or loses the super bowl. The issue is and always will be that there must always be a loser if someone wins and that's enough for folks to scream till their head pops then happily come back in a couple of months to bitch again in the next race

I don't know about anybody else but if I had an opportunity to participate in a race where I knew ahead of time that my opponent has an advantage, I wouldn't complain about that advantage after I lost. I could always... not participate in the race, right?
