Cataclysm Classic - Dragon Soul Gem Adjustments Incoming

With scheduled weekly maintenance next week, we will make a few changes to the acquisition rate of epic gems in Dragonsoul.

• Madness of Deathwing will now drop two Essence of Corrupted Deathwing on Normal and Heroic difficulties.
• Spine of Deathwing will now drop an Essence of Corrupted Deathwing.
• Crystalline Geodes will now have a higher chance to award an epic gem.
• Elementium-Coated Geodes can now drop Elven Peridot, Deepholm Iolite, and Lightstones.
  
  • Queen’s Garnet has had its chance to drop increased, ensuring that it is the most plentiful, with all others having an even distribution.

We will continue monitoring acquisition rates and will make further adjustments if needed.

These were heavily duped back in the day, noone cheating anymore so they have to up the drop rates?

Great change. Some need 20 or even more Red Gems. And 5-6k+ for only 1 is quite a lot. This will definitely help.
