Yeah, I dont mind some time gating, but almost two months with trivial content being timegated I can't understand. If any timegating make it be a week between.

95% loving it and 5% being annoyed at a few of the reward structures. They're pretty much my only sore points, as a solo/outdoor player.

I wish they never did seasonal FOMO mage tower boss content, that stresses me out. And a few of the Undermine grinds have been poorly planned and implemented, and the Spreading the Light unique mogs are really annoying to try to get - 14 attempts a week, no guarantee of even one actual item drop AND you can get duplicates? Just put them on a vendor for like 50 radiant crystals a pop, Blizz...

But the lore I enjoy, the zones I enjoy, the world quests I enjoy, the profession catch up really helps with some of DF's issues (though it could be better) and I'm eager to see where things go. Grinding issues aside, I think Undermine is one of the best realised zones they've added, from a lived-in perspective.

The Warband Bank is great, as is the concept of Warbands in general, and my only issue with them was at the start of the expansion when we couldnt craft from Warband Bank materials, and when the guild bank bug wiped out hundreds of thousands of gold worth of items from my coffers. I'm still salty about that.

Oh, and I'd like there to be far, far fewer promotions in the future. But other than that, this may be my favourite expac. Maybe Legion, not sure yet.

I give it a meh/10. It's just something to do while waiting for another good MMO to come out so I can play it like a job. My eyes are on Ashes of Creation.

So, what number of "This will be it, surely" are we at?
The fact you're still frequenting wow forums and not AoC doesn't bode well.

    Mutch better than Shadowlands, but I feel like I struggle with the same thing;
Some classes got awsome new powers, and some got screwed over by s gimmick I did not like.
And suddenly a class I hate has the gimmick I like, but cant get into the class/fantasy/whatever. Lol

Mage for example feels horrible to me with the hero-talents. Feel like only frost iw the one I can make work. I want to play Arcane, but the hero talente feels of to me.
    Rogue feels booring.
Warrior feels like they just added a little thunder.

In general , besides the hero talents, I just dont "feel" any of the classes this time around. They feel bland, and some of them lean way to mutch into a archetype. (i know this has been going on for long)

I miss the nature part of balance druid, the less "piratey" rogue, more elements for Shaman cross-specc, less tentacle shadow priest, a marksmsn hunter that didnt just feel like random ranged.
The ones I didnt mention kinda feels stale or left behind.

Monk feels nice, but like DH feels like a modern class left behind and stuck, DK feels wonky, evoker feels good but feels like way to little buttons, Druid is OK in general, paladin always felt booring to me, DH is good but stale like monk.

What in trying to say Is i feel like im playing pre-existed Overwatch classes; both gameplay, theme, personality and customization.

    ....

The pace of WoW has also always been wonky to me as I feel like the story progress so slow for the sake of raiding/mythics. Every expansion feels like im weaning , snd then get that small hit of milk whenever im done lol.

But all in all; love the game, the story, the expansion felt nice at launch, they are onto something gameplaywize; but its as if they dont dare to shake things up enough and play it safe.
I just miss feeling like my char belongs in the world , has personality and aint "gnome mage nr 7485"

    Worse than Shadowlands to me.
Game was still playable in Shadowlands. PvP was still going, even if the numbers were decreasing.
Solo queue modes pretty much killed organized PvP, and come with even worse issues than forced LFG did at this point. 30+ minutes to get a game to pop, ELO hell issues actually existing in Blitz, and premades are decimating casual PvP to the point gearing alts is pretty much only viable through AFKing for 15 minutes at a time for a crate.

PvE is more of the same and M+ is still fundamentally flawed for anybody who has to pug or limited time with key downgrades.

Story isn't even Warcraft anymore, and the writers don't know what the first 20 years of the franchise was based on.

I like how I can completely ignore M+.

Classes and rotations are too complex still.

The profession system is baroque and doesn't feel at all good.

PvP? Might as well not exist.

Issue is that it still does not feel enjoyable to do. I do not feel like I am an alchemist brewing potions or a blacksmith swinging a hammer or a jeweler making a piece of art. I am still navigating menus. It still feels like an excel spreadsheet and a wiki experience. There is also little reason to engage with the system past the first couple weeks once the bots and the spreadsheeters optimize the economy, it is always more time efficient to work a real life minimum wage job and just buy wow tokens instead.
