    A Radiant Call

Players will begin their journey when they speak with the Flame’s Radiance Recruiter in Dornogal near the map table. You’ll travel to Hallowfall to meet up with Mylton Wildbraun at the Flame’s Radiance camp at Morgaen’s Tears to the southwest of Mereldar near the Veneration Grounds. Speaking with Mylton will offer a variety of quests including Daily Quests to take up around Hallowfall and Azj’Kahet along with a weekly quest for the Nightfall Scenario. You’ll earn Flame’s Radiance Reputation and Resonance Crystals along the way to gain access to and purchase new rewards.

    Nightfall Scenario

Each hour, players will be called forth to take part in the Nightfall scenario which has several phases players can participate in until you ultimately defeat the Sureki champion. You’ll be able to check within the Quest Log (L) in the Events tab for when the next scenario begins if you’re not sure. You can also mouse over the Nightfall symbol on the map to view a countdown timer until the next round of the event.

Additional rewards are earned with your participation during the scenario— which can be tracked and viewed on the Service Award progress bar at the top of the screen. The more participation, the greater the reward.

Players can also undertake a weekly quest The Flames Burn Eternal to earn Valorstones, Carved Undermine Crests, and a Radiant Service Satchel. The satchel contains additional Valorstones, Resonance Crystals, and 1 Radiant Emblem of Service to spend at the vendors in Morgaen’s Tears.

    Service Awards:
    • Arathi Soldier’s Coffer
    • Arathi Cleric’s Chest
    • Arathi Champion’s Spoils

    Support the Flame’s Radiance

A variety of additional Incursion quests are available to undertake from Mylton Wildbraun and will send you throughout Hallowfall and Azj’Kahet as a part of the Flame’s Radiance’s efforts to push back the Sureki. As you progress through these various activities, you’ll also gain powerful buffs to help you combat the powerful forces brought forth from these nerubian invaders.

    You Are Invincible… Sort of

While you adventure in Hallowfall and Azj’Kahet, you’ll also be able to gain additional buffs to help you in the outdoor areas within the zones as you battle against the Sureki such as the Liquid Divination elixir you can “test” for the Sacred Alchemist or the Sacred Flame’s Ward.

    • Liquid Divination: While in Arathi’s End your healing, damage, and health are increased by 30%.
    • Sacred Flame’s Ward: While in Khaz Algar, dealing damage has a high chance of burning the enemy with righteous fire dealing bonus Radiant damage while taking less damage.

the scenario itself is good, lots of different things to do. the "personal involvement" bit needs a massive boost though. if there's lots of people around, stuff melts and it's impossible to get to 100%

  3. #3
That's actually a really cool armor set. Digging the stark white on black color palette. I don't usually invest in these open world patch grinds anymore but this transmog has me reconsidering.

Amazed that this only has two comments.

Nightfall Scenario is really buggy. Progress stops, mobs bug out and especially the final boss goes down without giving credit, keeping the entire zone in an unfinished status for hours.

But yeah..Blizzard REALLY needed to push out more stuff instead of testing this a bit more thoroughly

The progress is collective/public isn't it?

There is an overall mission progress bar (when it works) and tasks are announced (when it works) - but the contribution to the green / blue / purple chests is personal.

So from ppl afking events, everything now melts like crazy. You best have a spamable AoE to tag mobs. Luckily the final boss gives at least 33% (my estimate, I went into that fight usually with around 70% progress) - again...when it works. The purple chest so far has always contained Veteran gear.

Last boss bugging out (giving loot but not completing the quest, which rewards the weekly enblem) happened at least 3 times today on the 6 chars that did the scenario.

    Thank you for the clarification

Yea, this is fucking awful. A buggy, utterly broken mess.

Progress, purely individual, can get completely stuck. Even if it is working, you are killings things, completing barely functioning objectives that might not amount to a single % of progression. Elite/Champion gives no progress. Fighting for the gear/transmog of the epic box is utterly exhausting, unless you have a spamable, instant, ranged, preferably aoe ability, you are kind of fucked.

And then, getting credit/completion, to start collecting the weekly capped limited currency, is an absolutely crap shoot. So far I've managed to get it twice....

    pros:
-i like the dailies, havnt had any meaningful dailies in a while so decent change of pace
-i like that the progress bar is personal so it disincentivizes people from AFKing

    cons:
-uh.. the event doesnt work LOL. extremely buggy. i hope the maintenance today fixes it..

Progress being personal means you absolutely have to join a raid group. You can't fill the bar on your own before the event ends.

Not sure how to feel about it, I'm just saying.

I'll be interested to see once they get things working properly if this changes much. I've only gotten one epic bag and it was meh. So if that doesn't change, I expect in a week, we'll all be AFK waiting for the final boss, just like the time rifts

nah u definitely can fill it urself. the last objective where theres big waves of enemies right before the boss spawns gives u a ton of progress just by aoeing stuff down tbh. though when the event is fixed itll probably take a lot less time so maybe ur right, i guess we'll see

I completed 2 scenarios on my own, no raid group. As long as you can tag stuff constantly, you are fine. The only reason I joined raid groups, was to get onto different servers / shards / whatever when my server bugged. (not like the other servers were flawless, they actually had different bugs...like overall mission progress bar would get stuck)

Yeah kinda baffled myself - I mean..obviously I am not a dev, programmer or have any more idea about servers than you next armchair critic - but man? It is not like there was PTR or the precedent of many, many patches where everyone comes together in one spot.

It is still bugged today on my server, people saying in general that they are / have been submitting tickets etc...not seeing any blue post so far acknowledging any problems though.

If it helps (anecdotal evidence and all) - Six toons completing the scenario and a Warbound Veteran item (1/8 or 4/8) in each of the epic boxes. Plus the Voidy Lynx. The epic reward bag from doing the weekly however contained always one enblem to buy any of the Champion items that are on the vendors (maybe also resonance crystals or gold, no idea, didn't pay attention to that)

shits still bugged, stuck on the final objective after killing the boss lmao

i normally am not super bothered by stuff not working immediately on patch day but its been 2 days and we've had a couple maintenances, so im annoyed. it would be nice if i could begin working on the new rep..

That bugged scenario is indeed annoying, but you can still work on the rep - There are 3 dailies up. And for some reason, although they are according to wowhead "dailies", I also have 3 from yesterday in my log (so that is 600 rep) - not a huge amount, but just saying. (also a warbound veteran item in every satchel so far)

If you repeat a daily on an alt, you still get an extra 50 rep. Not a lot...again...but on a (lowly) alt also a decent way to get weathered crests.

Is that word the voidy lynx comes from the Epic box? That will be a reason to try at least until I get it. The Veteran gear, not so much

No, that comes from the Confiscated Cultist's Bag that you get from the dailies

What @Puri said - sorry, I must have mixed this up...opened all the rewards I had in my bags on the first day and that Lynx dropped, but yeah, it is from a Confiscated Cultist bag.
