    Horric visions remasted. No potions!

    Howdy Friends,

Doing the Horrificc visions, I noticed the first couple runs I had no potions. Dead guy isn't there and there is no Tribute. I've cleared and cleared, still nothing. Now I have two tributes at 100% and the 3rd at 69% still no poitions. I went back to the old version and dead man is right where you expect and I'm able to find potitions. I've tried a couple of alts as well, no potions.

So did I miss something somewhere? How do I get the potions to show up? I've watched a number of videos and no mention of needing to do anything special

    Thanks

They show up after a few runs. Pretty much all previous mechanics make a return, but they aren't all accessed the same way.

Huh.. Mine were there after completing the introduction quest (the first help enchant) but not before.
FOMO: "Fear Of Missing Out", also commonly known as people with a mental issue of managing time and activities, many expecting others to fit into their schedule so they don't miss out on things to come. If FOMO becomes a problem for you, do seek help, it can be a very unhealthy lifestyle..

Need to run it a few times... think it's related to the tributes. Saw them on my third run after getting a mask.

Each tribute is done differently, kill elites, kill bosses, kill minions... can't recall the 4th.

Yeah I've no idea what exactly is unlocking all the features as I've done the exact same runs before, but at one point they appear.

Well, I got it unlocked. Not sure if it was supposed to this way or not, but after doing it on the PTR and not seeing it, I figured I'd go ahead and buy the 3rd upgrade option Expansive mind (The one that buff party members Sanity)on live and when I entered the next vision, the 4th tribute showed up and then when I entered the actual vision, Morgan Pestle was there on the ground with the note..etc..etc

Maybe it's assumed, but no one mention I had to buy that upgrade to get potions unlocked.

I think it's more down to the exact triggers not being widely known.

The upshot is that all those unlocks are account wide, so you won't have to worry about them again.

Well the collection themed tribute seems to unlock the memento chests, followed by something, followed by the bonus memento crystals, maybe it was that?

From what I understand, the ability to see potions is an undocumented perk of the Tribute of the Vision Hunter's Tier 1 unlock. Once you kill enough non-elite mobs, both potions and crystals appear to be collected and allow you to start progressing on the Tribute of the Clear Sight (which adds N'Zoth treasure chests to further areas in Stormwind and Orgrimmar). I'm not 100% sure if that's the case, but it's what has been reported by people just starting the new Horrific Visions.
"We're more of the love, blood, and rhetoric school. Well, we can do you blood and love without the rhetoric, and we can do you blood and rhetoric without the love, and we can do you all three concurrent or consecutive. But we can't give you love and rhetoric without the blood. Blood is compulsory. They're all blood, you see." ― Tom Stoppard, Rosencrantz and Guildenstern are Dead

Huh. Neat. I didn't notice they weren't there at first - I was just zerging to do the zones one at a time for the sanity reduction, and I guess that triggered it before I started looking.
