Yeah, I agree that Blizzard needs to change directions asap. The game's already a lot for returning and new players - the added complexity is unnecessary.

On mythic almost everyone ends up doing bombs it would be beyond painful without the weak aura

Blizzard's war on add-ons is a decade too late but still welcome.

I have raid led several sprocket mythic kills. I have called out all mine pops myself, and I rarely use the weak aura timer (we did use the gateway weak aura to help everybody with the timing of intermission). I did the same thing with mythic queen ansurek and called pops by ear I never use a weak aura for that I just count "1 mississippi pop" and it has always worked out lol

Oh yeah, I just resubbed to WoW. Used to be a kinda big deal top 250 on my server during Molten Core in Vanilla. I thought I'd try Mythic Sprocket as a first thing after leveling. Turns out it was totally ruined by addons. Unplayable. Blizzard probably losing millions of subs due to this.

Sprocketmonger is precicely the kind of boss that makes me sceptical about the addon ban.

They say they won't do bosses like this after AddOns have been removed, but I somehow doubt it. Bet we will see dozen Sprocketmongers after the AddOn ban before they learn what they can do anymore.
