What mod or feature that no one has made yet do you want Blizzard to put in the game?

Me I want them to add a button that will make the cursor glow so you can see where it is currently. Useful for when your in a raid or events where you're in a huge crowd, cause you can lose track of where your cursor is.

You can make the cursor absolutely enormous in Options, that put an end to me losing it in the middle of frantic raid fights.

That said, having an option for it to glow or pulse would still be very helpful.

Currently there cant be any housing addons to save house configurations because they locked the api for item location and placing / removing.
Maybe its the current "addons bad" brainrot but its limiting housing severely and if they cant do it themselves they should at least let addon developers do it.

I would love if Blizzard enhanced their cursor support. They can increase in size, but wouldn't mind the ability to make it more visible as the silver can to some, disappear in the fight - perhaps even a cursor ping function, as it seems, people lose track of it in the game.

I want a button which instantly snaps pets to my side. As a hunter, my pets are often doing fucking who knows what or they have to run a mile after I jump down. either have it be an automatic thing, or an ability with a 30 second cooldown I don't care which.

The "addons bad" situation is actually quite specific. It is in combat, while in an instance of any variety (pvp, m+, delves, and raids). All other addons have not been throttled at all. The housing situation is simply them not having moved the system forward enough to allow for that kind of situation. Part of it has to do with not everyone having the same decor and number of decor. It's not like a talent system where it's a fixed set of things that everyone has. It seems "intuitive" to us, but the backend work is actually quite substantial and to include that in the early days of the housing system is probably best left to a future time so as to make sure all of the features work as intended which, for anyone who played the Alpha, was not always a guarantee.

There is protected API that has been already found to grab item data like location/rotation/scale and to place/remove.
They literally just have to unlock access and addon devs could have a working addon within a day because said devs already have been working on such addons and got blocked by the api being protected.

For sure...but IIRC there was some issues with unlocking it that they weren't ready for. My understanding was that they fully intend to make that kind of thing available, just taking baby steps to make sure things don't break.

Technically if it can save the data and keep it from house to house and have it pick up and move from one plot to the other, the tech exists. Just opening it up is something they aren't ready to do. Especially with the rest of the neighborhood mechanics/activities/endeavors still yet to up and running fully.

Cartographer 3 was an addon that let you zoom into the map like it was google maps. Would love to see that happen in wow again.

Probably intented for customer protection - nobody can click a goldselling / pishing site.

The questlog and map helps way too much in my opinion. In vanilla/tbc you actually had search where you needed to go and i wish i could disable parts of the questlog/map system to spoil less so i can find quests out myself again.

In the game menu, options > interface > display, you can disable the in game navigation and the outline mode for the quest objectives.

Most quests don't tell you how to get to a place anymore because the guide exists. Back in the day they had to do that so you could find your way obviously.

I want that button for my Delve companion. Preferably as a "don't go and loot that crap over there" feature. So annoying how Brann manages to pull rares when mining...every...single...time. He really needs an "assist" and "stay" button or something...well...too late for him, but the next companion we get.

Or he’ll use his gryphon ability when a mob has 5% hp left and then just spend the rest of the time throwing hammers at me. Or he’ll be mining, as you said, and run over but then use the ability but be out of range of the mobs I’m attacking and so targets me again
