i do wonder though.. i love that expansion and was really happy adventuring with arator into the maw. yet people seem to hate it much. /shrug

They should honestly do shadowlands. Add some quality of life improvements that make the maw and travel between the different alterlives and oribos less annoying and we're golden

I mean, the reasons people didn't like shadowlands are pretty much all gone in a remix format. People didn't hate shadowlands because of it's aesthetics and collectibles which are the most important parts of a remix.

Hopefully, they don't do anymore remixes. Giving away collectibles that people sometimes put years in trying to get the old fashioned way leaves a bad taste in my mouth. Add in the extreme FOMO of the whole thing, and I really want no part of them. It's pointless filler content too. I guess if it's Shadowlands, then I'll definitely be avoiding it for that reason alone. I'll be good if I never return there, remix or no.

All of this FOMO is starting to backfire on them too. I used to be one of those people that had to collect everything in the game. But after missing FOMO event after FOMO event, it has killed my motivation to collect entirely. There is also no mental reward for getting a rare drop that people just get handed to them for bronze. So instead of WANTING to collect it all, I have given up and will just stop trying. Oh well for their player retention metrics, they have done this to themselves.

Keeping things in a cage like the good old days makes no sense. In my opinion, they're doing a good job. Nobody looks at people in the city anymore, admiring their gear/items. Those days are long gone.
