lmao this made me lol for real. Passing off anecdotal evidence as empirical is always a hoot. "Oh I saw it online on this one site so it must be true!" I literally spent like 20 minutes yesterday convincing my mom that Elon Musk didn't in fact say that he disproved the Lunar Landing mission. Because she swore it was true because someone claiming to be Elon online said so.

I als have no idea where you got this data that LGBTQ+ is vanishing from gaming, so if you have something showing that I wouldn’t mind seeing it.
Anyways, other than that data, I’m not going to read anything else you respond with. I don’t really feel a need to keep going off topic from this thread debating with people about something so inconsequential as a body type 1/2 tag.
Going to be honest, you have to stop answering and entertaining these fools when they bring up these body type responses. YOU are literally feeding the trolls when you answer back at them. I hardly if ever answer them. I always feel they are just trying ro start some kind of argument or derail the thread on purpose with all that male/female shit.
Be careful who you chat it up with here on these forums. If you are NOT for WoW and about WoW, people will report whatever you say and get you banned

Oh, I know, that’s why I didn’t respond to the next message they had. I stated my piece and walked away.

Well, sorry, but it is the way it is

Ogres were considered to be a new race in the game twice, and lost both of those times because trolls and goblins had more pull to them. They're a niche option that won't translate into many players outside of roleplayers on Wyrmrest. Not even on Moon Guard, given Hordeside is completely dead on MG. Plus, with how hard the vast majority of allied races fell off, the days of faction based races seem behind us.

If you really wanted ogres should have gone and rolled a bunch of Kul Tirans

Meanwhile for haranir, NElves are popular, zandalari are popular, mix 'em together into the lore implied but unseen proto-elf, guaranteed to get some rerolls.

You're right there, but then say that, don't try and hide behind data you're trying to twist to back you.

Ahhhhh, you are even more clueless than initially expected. Pathetic.

Why does it feel like the furry community is dictating which races make it into WoW? If it’s not furry relatable or hawt, it’s out.

Also the body type 1/2 is jarring because it’s not like the races have non-human sexual dimorphism. All “male” body types have more muscles, all “female” body types have more fat and curves. It would make sense if the races expanded to non-human sexual traits. But since they lack imagination, we get clear human biological features, but we just can’t name it so.

Started in closed beta, probably before your class was even in the game.

I point out facts about the game and you call me 'clueless' because you're pining after fat, ugly men, the race, and are surprised that fat, ugly men the race isn't popular given you're playing World of Warcraft, the game where Blood Elves and Night Elves are the most played races

    okay, tourist.

I didn't even bring up furries. But like. look at what races are popular in the game. Blood Elves and Night Elves are so far ahead of the pack, its slightly absurd, but also completely understandable why haranir exist because like.... Why wouldn't they look at the most popular race and go "Yeah a popular race would be elf-y"? Plus the most popular allied races being void elves, zandalari and vulpera. Warcraft players clearly have a type. You saw what happened with ugly

Animal people also makes an easy thing to run off stereotypes and its not like they're unpopular races. Sethrak are obviously one of the most highly demanded races, there's been requests for a Saberon-esque race before Saberon even existed thanks to Vanilla's random troll form 'Tigon' models, tuskarr got a big shot in popularity thanks to Dragonflight, same with gnolls, and furbolgs have always been the "Yeah that should probably go to the Alliance probably" race. Plus Pandaren were the most requested race for the longest time

The 1/2 thing could be used to add in other options (think slotting in thin humans as 3 or other such body type adjustments, I know everyone talks about merging the ARs with the base ones and that' be perfect for putting KTs in with base humans as 3 and 4) but obviously hasn't been done as yet.

Actually, I am laughing at you because you don't even know what the conversation is about, and you've dug yourself deeper repeatedly.

Yes; completely and utterly clueless. Fools such as you are the problem.

the customisations are what saved this playable race choice.

    I still want ethereals.

Ethereals, tuskarr and ogres are races that have been requested for years. I don't get why they pull these out of the blue instead.

    Good, good.

Finally an alliance race with shaman as a choice that isn't by default overweight.
    Loving the customization also...

so i'll probably be rerolling my main for the 1st time in like 20 years.

It is still another "magical discovery" - but nobody has discovered every cave and explored all of the oceans on earth (not that I am saying there actually is stuff like underground civilisations as in the old fantasy / science fiction films - but people are still fascinated by tales like Atlantis or Journey to the middle of the earth)
Yeah exactly! Now imagine how those underground tunnels and caverns and such could have little hidden entrances all over the world and could even tie them to mini outdoor / underground dungeons and such. Like here's one for ya. Look at places like the twilight caves outside of Razor Hill. That place was/is iconic. Now imagine there was a little added tunnel in there connecting it to a larger cavern system? Who knows WHAT could be lurking in there! To me the possibilities are endless.
