MMO-Champ is causing Chrome to freeze up.

The past couple of days I've had issues with opening MMO Champ on Chrome in PC.

As I open the website the entire PC comes to a crawl, cooling goes nuts and the only way to fix it is to close Chrome completely.

I happens about 1 out of every 5 or 6 times I open MMO-Champ.

I do not get the same issue with other browsers (tho I only tried reloading the page about 10 times in Opera), I do not get the same issue on mobile, nor do I get the same issue with any other website.

I've tried complete cache and cookie clear, both manually and with CC Cleaner.

The issue persists.

I have a vague suspicion it might have to do with some of the adds that load on the page. Yes, I have Ad Block installed.

it is definitely ad related, I remember having a similar issue a while back. maybe try updating ad block?

I am using Brave which has native ad block (brave shields) and its giving me a lot of issues. Not actually freezing but its significantly slower response than normal.

I am getting a ridiculous amount of ads on the front page of MMOC which causes the same issues, even with adblock.

Been getting random hangups every once in a while. Notice it the most when I go to reply with quote and it just hangs for like 5-6 seconds before acting normal. I do use Ublock Origin lite.
