Demon Hunters gain a third specialization, Devourer, harnessing the Void as a mid-range, glaive-wielding spellcaster with high mobility and devastating combo attacks.
Void Elf Demon Hunters
Players can unlock Void Elf Demon Hunters by completing a short quest line as a part of the Midnight pre-expansion content update.
User Interface Updates
The User Interface is getting new tools that let players customize Nameplates, Damage Meters and Boss Alerts directly in the base game, without the need for third-party addons.
Transmog Updates
The transmog system is overhauled in Midnight, letting players save outfits, style multiple looks and dress for the moment anywhere in Azeroth.
Player vs. Player Training Grounds
Training Grounds is a new mode where players learn PvP fundamentals in guided battlegrounds, facing smart game-controlled opponents in Arathi Basin, Silvershard Mines and Battle for Gilneas.
Housing Updates
Midnight introduces Endeavors as monthly, neighborhood-wide activities where residents collectively complete themed tasks to unlock special vendors, decorations and Community Coupons.

Night Elf and Blood Elf architecture also arrives in the Midnight Pre-Patch! Alliance players can now design their houses with iconic Night Elf moonlit stonework and purple-hued wooden structures, and Horde players can add Blood Elf elegance with Silvermoon-inspired options of golden trim and red crystal accents to their homes.

Pre-Expansion Event and Winds of Mysterious Fortune Buff
The Twilight Ascension pre-expansion event begins the week of January 27, alongside the return of the Winds of Mysterious Fortune buff, which grants bonus experience from level 10-79.
