In terms of grind is it a chore or something you can do in 1 hour for a set?
I first read that as "toilet seat" and wondered if housing had gone too far.

If we assume you haven't done anything in the war within at all it shouldn't be long. The way it works is, you get a gem from the original 4 reps every number of renown levels. You get the first one at renown 4 which you should get a little into the campaign. Probably indeed about an hour would be my guess.
If you don't have any gems you can use crystals. Not sure how long it takes to farm those but probably longer than getting a gem to buy a set if you're starting from scratch

The idea of being in an MMOC guild, with a bunch of perpetually angry/terminally online man-toddlers who hate the game but are too addicted to stop playing it, sure sounds like a fun way to play WoW.
