12.0 - Midnight UI So Far.

    https://drive.google.com/file/d/1WZW...ew?usp=sharing

This is what I have so far, I'm pretty happy with it. Most things at this point are minor tweaks.

    Raid Frames: Plexus
    Unit Frames: Unhalted Unit Frames
Nameplates: Platynator (Tried To Copy The NeatPlates GREY THEME.)
Bars: Bartender 4 (With Masque Caith Theme)
    Damage Meter: Details
    Dungeon Timer: MPlusTimer
    Boss Mod: DBM
Cooldown Manager: Blizard Default + Bartender 4 Action Bar
Power + Resource: Sensei Resource Bar
    Map: Sexy Map
    Chat: Blizzard Default
    Mouse: Ultimate Mouse Cursor
Cursor: Currently Blizzard Default, but I use Roamy Clean - Tooltip (Currently causing too many errors, hopefully fixed soon).
Font: Fontmancer = PT Sans Narrow, Bold

How's things going with your UI? I've been working on mine all week, and there's still more to do.

    - Unitframes: Using unhalted. It doesn't compare to Shadowed UF, but it's OK other than the inability to filter auras.
    - Buffs/debuffs: This is now impossible. Stuck with default blizzard buffs shown as icons not bars, which also cannot be filtered so you see tons of useless icons all the time. Really sucks.
    - Cooldowns/etc: Using ArcUI. It allows me to set icons to not show when off cooldown (usable), which is astonishingly not possible with the Blizzard based cd manager. Unfortunately we can't *add* abilities to Blizzard's cd manager so I'm still missing tons of abilities, racials, etc. Sucks.
    - Scrolling combat text: This is now impossible. Stuck with default blizzard SCT. Really sucks.

Overall, I'm extremely unhappy with the changes.

Fine work. Respects original UI without looking like the other game(ElvUI, eww).

I try to use as much of the box UI as possible. Not done yet.

You clearly don't know that unhalted unitframes look literally like elvui.

Unhalted is just a configurable rectangle like pretty much every UF addon including elvui.

What are people using for "Coordinates?"

The TomCat's Tours one on Curse hasn't been updated.

I use that. I updated the TOC file to 120000 manually and seems to work fine.

it's entirely possible that i'm misreading you, or that you already know the thing i'm going to mention here but it's just not what you're looking for, but just reading this sentence on its face this statement appears to be factually incorrect and it might hopefully be that you just didn't know about this.
if that's the case, this is just me trying to be helpful, but again that's assuming i'm reading your post correctly and taking it at face value.

you can use the cooldown manager to set all icons to bars (or icons, as you prefer) and you can add/remove which are displayed.
edit mode > click the desired buff bar > click "advanced cooldown settings" click the Buffs tab with the lightning icon on the right side.
you can drag/drop buffs to one of three sections, 'icon', 'bar', or 'inactive'.

apologies again if you already knew this or this isn't what you meant.

The cooldown manager can't show all of your buffs, it only has a very short whitelist, and it doesn't show debuffs on the player at all. It is very far from replacing the regular buff/debuff icons in the top-right of your screen next to the minimap.

So, DBM and Details still working ? Thought they had been discontinued.

Both just skin blizzard's built-in functionality, but they are both worth using to do that IMO.

While I don't think the UI aesthetic itself is that bad after the prepatch dropped, I'm 100% sure doing DG's and Raid with all the restrictions will be beyond terrible.

Blizzard said they would change their design philosophy accordingly, but based on what I've seen from Beta, I'm quite sure they only wanted to make overall difficulty even harder with less work.

    Time will tell.
