I saw the latest interview with Holly and Ion. and it seems like Holly want or have, moved the game more and more into the "for all disney model" and killing warcraft slowly, but we never got an stright answer from the devs, but with this interview its 100%, warcraft is dead we will never see it again, maybe in classic plus if we are lucky, but retail will be happy crappy for everyone. Just see the new cinematic they made, the first part was , wow we are getting cool shit, a rogue who is up VS 4 people, owning, COOOL. 2sec later. Happy Jolly, goofy.

Yes the game is definitely dead and that is not at all sarcasm and or hyperbole.
The idea of being in an MMOC guild, with a bunch of perpetually angry/terminally online man-toddlers who hate the game but are too addicted to stop playing it, sure sounds like a fun way to play WoW.

World of Warcraft is not dead, but this interview and the State of Azeroth makes it very clear that they will not be going back to the "vibe" of original Warcraft or earlier expansions.
People should hope for a Classic+ type thing that aims for that kind of vibe ala OSRS, because it will not be found in Retail.
