Question Playing wow by remote access

So, i am working in night and on work i got like 5-7 hours that i can play, but i dont have a notebook, so o was thinking about remote access.

I would let my home pc on and access it remotely by smartphone and play (teamviewer, or other software).

Is it viable? Or maybe hard to do?

Actually all i would do is farming (gathering)

Geforce NOW has WoW on it, play it on your phone via cloud gaming.

Or play WoW on the go using a handheld PC like the ROG Ally and Steam Deck.

This is against the ToS because this is exactly how bots and pilots work.

You probably won't get in trouble if you're doing it on your own home network, but I wouldn't risk it myself.

Your best option might be a Geforce Now sub. Connect your (android) phone to a monitor, keyboard and mouse or controller and you're good to go.

Moonlight could be a free option for directly accessing your home PC though performance could be so-so over the internet.

Obviously both options will require a solid internet connection.

If I were in your position though I'd look into buying the Xbox Ally X handheld and play it directly over there, probably sell my own PC too since I couldn't use it as much.

You will 100% get banned – the AI will detect you as a cheater. It's very sensitive; people are getting banned for not updating drivers, BIOS settings, or even for using Logitech G Hub.

And they won't help you if you get banned. They believe the AI is correct and the CS is built around that.

I suggest not doing this. Even if you had laptop - I would not log from a different space.

You can remote control from phone with steam, few years ago there was a viral video of a guy showing how its done on youtube.
Since its old you could even look up if anyone got banned to confirm if there is any risk to it.

There's risk, but it's not anywhere near as bad as the guy above you seems to think. Blizzard isn't using AI to ban people, that's absolutely fucking absurd. The risk would be if you did something unusual like stay logged in for 200 hours in a row and then Blizzard mistakes you for a bot and actions the account. Even then, it's unlikely to be a permanent ban, and, may honestly just be a warning telling you to knock it off.

So what were you "unfairly" banned for?
