Frankly, being an old the sims 3 player as I am, i cant see the difference between hearthsteel stuff and objects packages from the sims.

It keeps.making them producing decor more and more.

The sims 4 (wich i dont play and hated because of no open world) is the longest sims they've ever created. I guess its more than a decade now.

Housing may keep wow alive for many more years and I dont mind buying decor as much as i dont mind buying LoLs skins

And ALL of that on top of having to pay a monthly sub and every 1.5year buy a pricey AAA expansion,
Are you sure? Because wow mounts and mogs have been out there for years, and beside that AH brutosaur mount, everything else that we farm and get in game with effort is so much better.

Wow, however, is still alive. They are even producing store stuff for classic and for Mists

Oh look housing stuff on the cash shop just like it was said that was gonna happen when housing was announced and we all knew was coming. Yet here we all are acting like we are clutching pearls regardless lmao. Every game on the planet has a cash shop these days yet it's ~only~ Blizzard that pissed in yalls Cheerios daily over it eh?

This website is too funny man

Would be interesting to know how people react to this in other games that have a sub...and as a sub I also count game that are pretty much unplayable unless you buy a "premium" or whatever.

Anyone here who plays any of those games and visits their forums?

Obviously we won't get numbers - only telltale signs like: If this sells, there will be more...and for a long period of time.

I thought the 2500 was going to be 5 euro or something, cause this is what you need for those packs on the store (2500 hearthsteel), but I loaded the page and it said "35 euro"... Are those couple of house decor items really costing 35 euro or am I missing something? Who on earth is going to pay that amount of money for a few decor items?

You know all of this is voluntary right? And you are whining about useless cosmetic stuff that has nothing to do with the game at hand in large

The FF14 fandom regularly expresses consternation at the increasing amounts of stuff being put into the cash shop, including mounts of raid bosses that should have been boss drops (cruisechaser and the Shadowlord wolf).

Is housing decor really popular enough to the point that players would spend real life money on it? I mean, mounts and pets, I understand, but decor...some people are still struggling to get the hang of housing or are just returning to the game so maybe at least they should wait a bit.

I mean ESO does so, they even sell houses for limited time around the year in their Crown Store club (for real life equivalents of $80-140), but I don't think the two systems and playerbases are the same.

(Their cheapest house was a $4.99 one via Seabloom Villa)

"The beauty of America was that it insisted that there are whole realms of human life located outside the province of politics, like friendships, art, music, family and love. And those are the most important parts of life. And anyone that says otherwise is forgetting what it means to be American and really a human being. Being a founder means resisting nihilism. [It]...doesn’t mean killing what you hate, it means saving what you love."

I believe we are, in fact, living in a society.

Are you sure you read my post right or even replied to the post you wanted to reply to? Makes no sense what you say in the context of my reply. I am not whining about useless cosmetic stuff, I know it is voluntary and that is in fact my position on these issues: Let people do what they want with their money.

I am still interested if this complaining is just a WoW thing. BTW: @Val the Moofia Boss right below your post got it. Cheers.

Did help that people were asking for it constantly.

Oh, by the way. The "true" reason WoW was created to sell it and make tons of money with it. It kinda is the reason why pretty much everything and anything that is on a market was created / is being sold.

So yeah - you are spot on. Sell people stuff they don't need to impress people they don't know...something...something "Fight Club"
