They always adjust health and damage of the final bosses based off data they get from early ones. The only difference here was they had even more time to do it.
They wouldn't have had any time to do it the speed they were clearing through this tier, that's the point. There wasn't a Broodtwister slowing progress with a 100+ pulls, or a Ky'veza walling them. The Paladins+Alleria took less pulls combined than Broodtwister. Belo'ren would have died before them as a "kill this guy then come back" so you're counting on them fixing Lu'ra in less than a day.

Soon as guilds start pulling her it's too late, you can't close the gate once the horse has bolted.

Yes the version of March we got was incredible, but if March wasn't a staggered release, it wouldn't have happened. That wouldn't affect the race outcome, but it's a further issue of how underwhelming the original tuning was for this raid.
Ex-Mod. Technically retired, they just won't let me quit.

All of that is based on the assumption that Blizzard wouldn't put more effort into tuning March if it had been released alongside all the other raids. But it wasn’t, so again — what’s the point of discussing it? Why speculate about a scenario that was never possible, given that the release was always meant to be staggered?

I always look at it like this.. if it isn't released yet and they make adjustments then what does it matter. Its not released yet. Yes we can say and even know they made adjustments to make it not fall over.. its before it was released? Fine with me. If suddenly things adjusted up during pulls then it would be a huge WTF imo.. before..? Not really.

Adjusting down afterwards is something I wish they could avoid as well.. but.. if these guys in what equates nearly full mythic gear at 500 pulling something and not getting out of phase one it probably needs a tune down. Granted the issue is with the top 2 guilds being in the EU and NA timing for these things pretty much is always going to be an issue. In the past we saw a few that just handed one team the win almost automatically. This go around it was a little better but its hard not to be able to draw even a thin that it helped one or the other even in the slightest more than the team they are going against. So if it goes like it did here it just is what it is. I can accept it.

They literally had time to do it when liquid went in and one shot the first 4 bosses of nerubar, they panic buffed both broodtwister and kyveza immediately and then had them serve as a wall to tune Ansurek right. Your point is that you're literally making shit up. This happens almost every single tier. Sark didn't happen because they don't have time to do this, Sark happened because the guilds had yet to fully send their crests and blizzard underestimated the power creep that was going to happen as it was the first tier with the new upgrade system. Gallywix and Alleria didn't happen because blizzard didn't have time to buff them but because blizzard thought they could out smart guilds and make puzzle fights. Every other tier they tune the final few bosses after guilds start clearing and you usually get a good final boss.

Your reminder they did panic buffs this tier too.

Paladins and Alleria still fell in a shorter time combined than Broodtwister alone despite panic buffs. There was no wall.

That second week staggered release gave them the time and data they needed.

They panic aura buffed it if March had come out with the rest Belo would have been nuked before they ever made those changes.
