Any tips for gearing?

My tips:

Work on your reputations to receive champion level gear (ilvl 246 1/6)

Head: Silvermoon Court level 9
Neck: Amani Tribe level 9
Waist: Hara'ti level 8

If you really want to be a sweat neckbeard loot goblin you can join only groups doing "armor type stacking" (leather, mail, plate, cloth) and trade with eachother the pieces you dont need.
Tactic: Invite only very high ilvl geared players of same armor type

When it comes to Dawncrest leveling up gear, dont worry too much about the blue quality pieces and level your best blue stat prio items without a worry.
Because it costs ZERO crests to level up a new piece you get on the same slot you already leveled up. (up until to the point of the previous piece item level)

When it comes to purple items Dawncrests...i have no idea? Need help here.
Maybe ONLY level up the BiS items first?
Any tactics here?

Also do Preys, they are fun and reward Veteran gear (ilvl 233 1/6)

Embelished PvE items
Make sure to see online what are your BiS and make sure to pick/lock the quality of the item on your Order if you dont want to get scammed by someone who make the item lower quality than you need.

I just made some world q + few M0 (6 or 7). 240ilvl overall. I still has room for crafted item. Almost full epic. Gearing is easy. Just make all upgrades from world q and just go throu M0. Imo HC dungeons are useless especially when M0 go in daily reset.

[KOUNTERPARTS]

Spam Mythic (0's) dungeons, do Delves, gain rep... and when the season starts, spam the raid and Mythic+ dungeons.

Honestly it's the same thing you do every expansion since at least BfA/SL. Perhaps a bigger emphasis on reputation/renown track rewards nowadays comparatively to the past.
