Shaman trinket question

I just picked up Fathom-Brooch of the Tidewalker (http://www.wowhead.com/?item=30663) and was reading on thottbot that it was pretty uber for shaman... But I dont see it proc much so im thinking of going back to my blue trinket from non-heroic bot?

1. stay away from any spirit items as a shaman.
2. no spirit.
3. seriously, no spirit.

fathom brooch is an awesome item, its a very high proc chance with the normal 45sec built in cooldown.

It doesn't work for healing spells. No one has said whether or not this is intended or if it is going to be changed. As of right now though, that trinket will not proc on healing spells.

Use a +heal trinket, like lower city prayerbook (http://www.wowhead.com/?item=30841)

it hasnt been bugged for healing spells since the BT patch, its equal to a trinket that would give you 37mp5 so its even worth it for an elemental shaman but good luck getting it to drop

oh and go do bwl for a rejuv gem to go with it =) its still one of the best healing trinkets in the game

It's one of the best shaman Trinkets in the game.
It's working and has worked fine since at least 2.1.
