Download a program called mpqviewer, available from various places including Curse (http://wow.curse.fr/downloads/details/8718/) and check out the various mpq files in the data directory.

yep this is right.

all you do is open the .mpq file of original WoW or BC (depending on which music you want) and then extract the mp3's to your hard-drive.
