Kael'Thas - Capernian, Warlock tank?!

Okay I just have a few questions and the WoW forums aren't being very helpful (as usual). My guild has tanking Capernian down to a T in phase 1, but in phase 3 it seems that the warlock tank is getting conflag'd quite often, b/c either Capernian is moving closer to him, or after building 25+k threat he's losing aggro to a paladin. He's using the staff once, does he need to use it again if he gets conflag'd? Should he get conflag'd at all during p3? Any tips or macro's or anything actually would be very helpfuly here.

Getting conflagrated when tanking is quite normal so all he has to do is use this macro and spam away.

/use Staff of Disintegration
/cast Searing Pain

or this one

/stopcasting
/use Staff of Disintegration
/cast Searing Pain

This macro renews the aura from the staff each he casts which ensures he'll just never get disoriented when conflagged.

everybody that uses the staff should use some macro/hotkey and keep spamming it, its like Fearward, it gets consumed after one use.

To avoid gettign conflag'd in phase 1, have two warlocks 'dual-tank' him.

Then just one is needed in phase 3 with the staff debuff and mace buff.

/cast Blablabla
