The background frames in that UI is idd made with Kgpanells but you can as well get the same with only modifying the background in stuf frames.

I've seen several UI's with something that looks like Eavesdrops, only they show how much damage your last of each (you can configure which) spell you have cast. any ideas what this is?

I'm looking for an addon that activates a spell as soon as you press the button, and not when you release it.
I searched Curse and WoWinterface, but I can't seem to find it.

Recently I start working on a new UI and in Shared media file ( I suspect) I find a really nice border with only corners colored. For some reason... I have lost it when my wow crashed and I can't find it anywhere.

Try SBF
Create a new frame and check Whitelist. In the filter menu type the name of the buff (from procs) you want to know about.
if not... go go Power Aura.

No that's basicly the same as Eavesdrop as far as I can tell (no?)

I'll try and be more specific

I don't want it to scroll down like eavesdrop/cascade, I want a row with my different abilities
Example:
Chimera shot 16450
Aimed shot 11437
Steady Shot 7834
Kill shot 36435 (and then next time I fire one, lets say for 35034 It'll shot that one instead)

Then for each of those It'll show my last hit I did with them so I can see how much it hit for. (making sence?)

Having barely used either cascade or eavesdrop for any substantial amount of time I wasnt sure what you were asking for, but from that description then after having had another look at the curse page for Eavesdrop I came across the following image of examples.
Look at the top left, which is the "History" browser.

I do not get the point of swearing on such images which seems to be an increasing common thing to do, but that would appear to be the buff or aura indicators for quartz.
/quartz to open up the options, and somewhere you should be able to disable them.
Not an addon I have used for a while, so if need be I can try reenable it to be more specific.

Checking to see if this UI posted in the Show your UI thread is a modified version of someones premade UI, or if this fellow made it entirely himself.

First time I saw that I thought so too, but then I realised that's just like recounts summary tab after the combat is over etc. What i'd like is basicly the same, except I want it to show while I'm fighting how much damage my latest of each ability did.
