Don't take what the GM are saying in-game too seriously. Could it happen? maybe nothing's impossible. Don't worry about that and focus on leveling your alt, getting your personnal rating up, kill the next raid boss or whatever you do for fun in WoW right now.

Personnaly i never heard them say anything about something like that but i dont know all they talk about.

This is pretty much a confirmed hoax.

That is why in the patch notes it explains how there will be a new graphic or symbol proving that it's a GM.

But really, would a name like Xeqtrr be allowed for a GM name? Doubtful, it's like unpronounceable.

i saw a bluepost confirming that there was no blizzard worker called Xeqtrr, so it was false.. easy to fake anyway!

Players proved and blue confirmed this is a hoax.
There is a player on that exact same realm with that name. It just requires some creative tabbing and adding some nice <GM> Tag and voilá.

Also think of it like this, a GM is not a developer. He will never discuss any changes that could take place in the game.
