Please add a "New posts since last visit" option/link

I've been having a hard time tracking the topics I want to read around here and the main reason for that is the fact that there is no option for searching for new posts made since the user's last visit.
Every forum I know has this option, why not this one? I believe it would prove most helpful for users and I hope you people consider adding such an option.
