First off, sorry for the late response, apparently I was banned for "UI thread rule violation", the only thing I can possibly recall that can have caused a ban is a paragraph that said I wanted to make new ideas....

Designing UIs are one thing. But often I see designs made for the purpose of the design, yet they render totaly useless in both PvE and PvP.

It would be more interesting in specific class modding for either PvP or PvE in UI design, such as the customized Mind Flay texture.

I think we reached the point where adding fancy textures to Pitbull+KgPanels and styling our <random action bar mod> with <random action bar styling mod> is getting repeative.

You should, if you want a challenge Adnan, keep this in mind. Try do what Maf did when recreating the Simphaty UI, or try experience more like Duke have done, or look into crazy idea's like the Diablo2Orbs Roth got made for his Diablo UI.

Plenty of work and ideas left for next expansion ! It's the job as the designer to challenge the developers -- that's how we get new addons to expand our ways of designing.

@ MF: I raided with my SP for a while, but in the end I dnt think ITS THAT needed :P I do indeed like the idea that you did that, I noticed it.

As for the going crazy and stuff, I'm not good with editing addons and shit, I'm good at using them :P And the orbs, i dnt really like em >.> I like seeing the health punched off the targets with my bow :P Indeed though, the ui's are somewhat repititive, but there's not much of an expansionary point other than design. I design my ui's for sexiness and functionality/comfort. My eyes are have "fast reflexes", my hands as well, so some stuff may seem like its there for the look only but I fully optimise my ui

Well, I'm happy enough with my current project for an unveiling. Still working on a few aspects with Ish by my side, but its coming along. Sorry I have to give a filefront link, but hdimage is broken and photobucket won't take over a meg file.

Castbar appears over buttons on unitframes. Black edges are a transparent panel laid over the top of the screen. Simple Minimap skin by delsim. Lyn-inspired unitframes made in Pitbull. Sleek button-facade skin, nchat, dominos, grid, nclock. many custom tga's by delsim, me, etc for dialog frames, buttons, minimap buttons, etc.

just one nitpicky thing ... why are your stats above your health bar written in a completely different font than everything else? it'd be different if it was disimilar but still resembled another font, but it doesn't share anything with the other fonts as it is.
