Suggestion: Possible layout/theme update?

As the title says, have you been considering updating the layout of the forums/pages at all?

I like the new WoR layout, but it does take a lot longer to load on my iPhone.

I would have to agree with that, because I would like MMO-Champion to remain individual from other sites, but it's time for change! :P

The current layout is one best layouts I've experienced. It's really good to read on , and it's not to bright, or to dark.

The WoR layout is absolute horrible for a forum.

The colors here are very good. If something should change, it should be the menu layout. The current layout isn't really supporting additional menu options. It feels like the "menu" with the arena calculator, armory tools etc, are just too anonymous. Imo the current Wotlk and BC menus to the left does not fit at all with the layout. Don't get me wrong, they both look very nice, but they just don't fit in with the colors. It's like they're separate menus placed within the already existing menu space, which makes the menu space seem very crowded. Perhaps if the original menu was given its own style instead of just being some text, it would seem less strange. Nothing wrong with just text, but it looks weird when you put a graphical menu just below it.

The news and "latest forum posts" layout is really nice and does not need to change. My only concern is the menu to the left.

A new theme is being worked on (Note : And it's been the case for the last 6 months I think, don't expect it before ... When it's done) . And no I don't plan to go all Gray/Black, and there won't be any major change. The only priority on the theme was the menu because I needed something decent to publish all the WotLK content, changing a few colors is definitely not my priority especially in the next days/weeks with all the updates we'll have to do on the WotLK pages.

I'd probably change a few things to the menu if I could but as I said, it was fairly urgent to push it live, and I'll probably have it changed to make the top part more visible. No plan to change it drastically, I like how it looks this way.
